I love your videos bro. One thing I wanted to mention, because it happened to me when I move north and I wasn’t aware. You are in tornado country. I moved south of Dallas to Tyler, Texas, and had no idea that tornadoes came down that low. A literal monster came through there right after I left. It killed a lot of people. So if I were you, I would be thinking about a storm shelter of some sort, to protect your family in the event that you get a bad one this spring. They usually fire up in April to June. Best of luck up there. Beautiful country!

@hughstephenson2957Күн бұрын
Can I give you 2 hints? I've got 35 years of mountain and off road recovery. Number one: in some instances tire chains are your friend. Cross link chains are best because they hold your truck still better. Number 2 use the digger foot of your wheel lift and bury it if you can.. may need a sledge hammer to do it but with the chains it makes a more stable platform

I get people need chains. They should use them. I am 54. I spent the majority of my life in snow. In extreme billiards. The mountains and plans. I have never used chains. I don't even know how to put them on. Yet. Sorry. I never needed a tow truck either. I never got stuck or went off the road before. I refuse to clean the snow out of my driveway. The more extreme. The more I love it. I can not stand clear dry roads. High winds. A load of rain and snow with ice is where I am at home on the roads. The worst it gets is the happier I am. Yet. Don't get hurt or killed. Because this is entertaining.

It is always the case, those in the ditches and stuck off the road, are usually the A holes in big trucks or SUV's with their 4 wheel drive, what these drivers all lack in common is skill and common sense. I have passed by and waved to many of drivers in a fancy Jeep in the ditch, while I was driving my old rear wheel drive 1986 Volvo 240 wagon, one of the best vehicles ever built, and also one of the top safe vehicles ever built, anywhere
