This was her farewell cover to KZbin at the age of 17. After this she disappeared until last year when she re-emerged with a new band. She covered Through the Fire and Flames at 15, and a fantastic cover of Steve Vai's For The Love Of God at 16.

The backing track is from Dr. Viossy, the guitarist who originally transpose this piece for electric guitar 🤘

"Tina S" (Tina Šetkić) is incredible. She did several high profile covers on KZbin, then suddenly disappeared off the face of the planet for years. She came back into the social media scene, a short while ago, as the guitarist of a band named Spin Twice. There's a very cool video of Herman Li, from Dragonforce doing a reaction to Tina playing a cover of Through the Fire and Flames. Tina does both the lead and rhythm guitar parts. Herman was so impressed that he said in his reaction that if Tina ever saw the video she should get in contact, because he would love for her to come perform with the band, when they're in Europe. I'd suggest that be the next reaction - the cover she did at age 15. Linky: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqGkhIauZcqWirc

Tina's covers of Steve Vai's For the Love of God, Jason Becker's Altitudes, and Gary Moore's The Loner, are all phenomenal, because they demonstrate 'feel', in addition to shedding. Well worth checking out.

She is incredible. She has done many technically difficult covers, but for me personally the cover of Steve Vai's "For the Love of God" is her best work. She puts so much emotion into this song. Unbelievable. Her cover of Dragon Force's "Through the Fire and Flames" even impressed Herman Li, who said it was the best cover. Maybe even better than himself.

"Anything weird or unique...we like that stuff, too." DEAL! Check out Patty Gurdy's cover of Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habits" kzbin.info/www/bejne/hnXNhYKOZbymb6M Patty's main instrument is the medieval instrument called the "hurdy gurdy" (hence, her stage name.) In this video, she also plays another ancient instrument called the octaveharpa.

Hey guys. Hope the cold weather is finally leaving your area. Some Tina background...started studying classical guitar at a conservatory in France at the age of 6. Switched to electric guitar at the age of 13 under the tutelage of Renaud Louis-Servais, a well known French guitarist and instructor. (Fun fact, Dany of The Warning has taken a few lessons from him.) At the age of 14, Tina started releasing covers of some of the more difficult guitar solos, many of which were featured in Guitar Hero, with Renaud handling the filming. At the age of 18 Tina disappeared from all social media and the internet, but finally resurfaced in the last few years as the guitarist for the band Spin Twice. As many others have commented, her covers of For the Love of God, Altitudes, and The Loner are my favorites because they require "feel" and not just technical prowess. I actually like her version of For the Love of God better than Vai's original.

Thank You guys very very much for doing this. At my age ok 76 I am always glad to see young people that can play and sing so well. Of Course I am a BIG fan of The Warning, but IO wanted to share Tina S with you Two. When I heard this about 7 plus years ago I threw all my guitars away. lol.

Funny enough, Renaud Louis-Servais, the amazing and electric guitar teacher, who trained Tina and recorded this video, has also had Dany Villareal as a student 😀🤩

always thought this was a rock song even when I only heard it on piano. (until they drift off) both lead and the backing track are remarkably close to the actual piano piece. in parts they "just" spread it over different guitars and added drums. most melodies and rhythms are still Beethoven. Valentina Lisitsa plays a mean 3rdmoonlight, worth following up with.

This is clearly a brilliant, virtuoso performance. Bravo. But the piece was written for the piano. It was made for the piano. It sounds better on the piano.

Her cover of Steve Vai's "For The Love Of God" ① is _better_ than Vai's live performances. Her emotional connection is unearthly. Tina S is a rare, better made, human who luckily also found her 'bliss' while young enough for her to approach her potential as a kid. Best Wishes for a Happy, Peaceful 2025. ☮ Maybe react to either (or even both): _KIDS ROCK FOR KIDS Global Collab - Barracuda (by Heart)_ kzbin.info/www/bejne/g3qYqGCJiLNpn7c (4m:9s) Ann Wilson was lauded as one of the greatest voices in rock, so a tough vocalist to follow, or _KIDS ROCK FOR KIDS Global Collab - Hysteria (by Muse)_ kzbin.info/www/bejne/d6HKhqN9iJued6c (3m:55s) better than the original? The band are 9yo-16yo, average about 13yo, but I don't think you guys would be embarrassed by the performances. I was already a big fan of drumming "Phenom" Yoyoka, bass "monster" Ellen, and guitarist Charlotte; because of these I'm a fan of vocalist Vinya. These recordings were organised by 'not for profit' KRFK. They say about themselves: _"KIDS ROCK FOR KIDS is a NYC-based nonprofit that brings together exceptionally talented and passionate young musicians from around the world - giving them the opportunity to do what they love and connect with their kindred spirits in music, _*_while helping kids in need."_* I'm looking forward to your reaction to Electric Callboy "Elevator Operator". ① kzbin.info/www/bejne/pHvMaZyJpd-kb6s To be fair, I can appreciate Vai's showmanship is expected live

There's an old saw - classical music was heavy metal before electricity - but I don't really think it translate well here. Much admiration to an obviously talented musician, but it's not for me. Cheers....

Tina S. is amazing. Her skills are up there with Hl-ca and Lisa-X. Unfortunately, the band she formed a couple of years ago is not that great. Tina's guitar playing is great but the rest of the band is barely mediocre.
