Have listened to John for over 30 years and it never gets old. He has so much great music and adapts from decade to decade, I think from memory 5 number1 hits over 5 decades. John can sing anything, any genre. Anything John sings is bound to be great. You really need to do more from John.

When The Voice smiles at the start, it is like, "Buckle up bitches, here it comes". He was in the stage production of Jesus Christ Superstar here with other top Australian performers. Even they were scared of having to sing alongside him. He is The Voice, so effortless in his singing.

Yes, John Lennon wrote it and the Beatles did an up-tempo version (to appease their record company), it was released as a single in July 1965. John Farnham covered it in 1980, Yoko said when JL heard it he said, "that was the way it was meant to sound". Unfortunately, JL was taken from us on 8 December 1980 the same year. 😪

He has been dazzling us Australians for 54 years If you find his first performance of this song 1980 Royal command performance you will hear his voice at perfection his voice was so clear in the high register back then. These days he may not be able to hold the highs as long but it is as live as it gets and he has so much more power these days, it’s incomparable to any other singer. I mean who could actually sing live that good. He needs no voice doubling no back up singer when he sings the most demanding parts. And He turns 72 in July Yep who wouldn’t be jealous.

Yup. He's the real deal. Always was. Still is! Came out to sing for a Farmers Aid concert only last year! Aged 70+ ! Voice as beautiful & powerful as ever. Just look at that stage presence -that effortless range - perfect pitch & timing. Breath control - microphone technique... Sync not only with a band but with an entire Orchestra. A thoroughly lovely decent down to earth humble bloke who can fill stadiums the country over - but loves just as much to sing in a pub with a few mates. And ALWAYS acknowledges his fellow musicians / performers. Did you think that all that - and humble and courteous too - began with Dimash?! John was Wowing us all over the country long before DQ was a 'twinkle in his father's eye'! :) And on this topic { Yes - I've become 'Dimashified' too) Just think on THIS for just a moment: >>> John did not have a SINGLE singing lesson in his entire life. All natural - all self taught. Pitch perfect - LIVE - every time. 'We' all were kinda gobsmacked when he didn't take off over in The States back in the day - but it's lovely that he's now 'Wowing' a whole new generation of new listeners every day - today. I'm a fan and i am definitely aussie. I really love your personality and passion for great music. John has been a greatly loved singer here for over50 years. He is also a great Beatles fan and always does one of their songs at every concert. This is by far my favourite and i believe it is even better than the original.. i went to johns very first concert and his last . He still performs at the ripe old age of 70 and that magic voice has lost none of its beauty or power over all those years. He is indeed one of the most genuine people and performers in the world. Hello, I went to a concert in Brisbane about 2 years ago, John Farnham and Lionel Ritchie. Lionel did a good job, but was just phoning it in and then John came out and blew the roof of the venue. He is now in his 70's and his voice is just as good as ever. John had his first hit in the late '60s called " Sadie the Cleaning Lady ". He hates singing this kitchy song at shows and everybody asked for it as a running joke. Do not put it on your channel, but you might want to look at it yourself for a laugh.
