It is so valuable to be able to do a skill that has nothing to do with digital. It really gives peace and pleasure to be able to craft like this. I'll watch this a few more times. The subject is very nice, but I am looking to learn more about how to take a simple subject, in common real-world lighting conditions and make very nice images. Did you use any bounce devices, or specifically position your grandfather where there would be bounce light, for example from a wall?

Thank you !! I didn't use anything at all, no bounce or diffusion, only thing I did was shooting backlit any chance I had :).

Thank you !! I used a VND and always kept the sun out of frame when I could. I think the Zeiss helped a lot too, contrast control is very good.
