Is it possible for you to share how to color grade in detail? I would pay for it.

I made a video last year about my color grading process so feel free to check it out and I also offer mentoring sessions if you would like to have an in depth chat about it :)

Hey ! Thanks for the video ! I'm not sure if you mention it, but do you use Braw or Prores codec while shooting all this ? Also at 5:16 you talk about your 24-105mm and the compression it gives you... What do you mean ?
@OfTwoLands
@OfTwoLands Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching!! I shot all of it in BRAW 12:1. And the compression is the 'effect' long focal lengths give you as they compress the background and foreground.

Great video! When you say you're shooting in slow motion, do you mean the 1920x1080 120 frames? Or 60 frames at 6k?
@OfTwoLands

Thanks!! 6K in 50 most of the time :)

Did you shoot timelaps shots in "timlapse"-mode in camera? or did you record in 24fps and sped it up inpost?
@OfTwoLands
@OfTwoLands Жыл бұрын
Timelapse mode :) It saves quite a bit of storage.

Such a valuable video Flo, thanks heaps for your in depth shares! I was curious to why you shoot night scenes at 3200 instead of 1250, I’ve found noise performance at 3200 is quite poor. And at 1250 there seems to be more dynamic range in the shadows, despite the highlight tradeoff. (Despite the ‘Native’ ISO at 3200 and 400)
@OfTwoLands
@OfTwoLands Жыл бұрын
Thanks mate!! I often shoot 1250 but I always prefer to shoot 3200 for super dark scenes as I know I can get it cleaned :). I do prefer 1250 though.

Hey Flo, for the timelapses, did you leave the camera for 5mins on 24/25fps and fast forwarded the footage in post?
@OfTwoLands

Hey, they are actually Timelapses in camera. I left the camera for around 5 to 10mins depending on the shot :).

From now on everytime someone asks me for a good cinema-cam to buy, i will show him this video. The language of your framing is awesome and i really love your "lowlight/underexposed" shots. Some are perfect (at least for me).

Great stuff as usual bro you always give simple Explanation, so question my Could you please guide me how to use the BMPCC 6K to Shoot a Timelapse video I have one to Shortly. I need all Settings by the way it's the 6K with the TAMRON 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 .awaiting your response also I have access to the Micro Panel can you guide me where I can find videos on how to use this Panel Properly I plan on Pursuing a Career as a Colorist thanks again Michael from Jamaica.
@OfTwoLands
@OfTwoLands Жыл бұрын
Thank you!! Timelapse is super easy you basically just have to click a button in the menu and choose your frequency. Settings can be whatever you need. And I don't have a panel so I am sure on youtube you will find plenty of videos to help you with that!
