I've been watching SRC for 3 years or more now and I'm very impressed with how much Billy has altered his work ethic and dedication to his work. I remember back when the old man was so frustrated because Billy was out playing, not testing and struggling at races. Now, he's like a man on a mission. There is a lot of reasons to go to a short stroke long rod in a boosted applications, but my favorite is durability! It helps with harmonics and bearing issues and many things u can’t see but u can feel. I think 4 time maybe a charm!👍

Mr.Billy, OG10 Back In Binez. This reminds me of the first video I stumbled across years ago that started me to watch any of the channels. I appreciated the honesty back then of the Good, Bad, and Ugly of a racing family. Legit with No Quit. I have been patiently waiting for The Kid back in the S10 that started it all. Putting this old girl back in the lineup with all that you have learned is going to carry your channel to the next level. Watching this family go through the Trials and Tribulations of Growing and Learning, figuring out how to implement each other's talent where it works the best while maintaining the respect each other deserves has been an amazing thing to watch. Billy your respect and maturity shown towards your family, and fellow competitors along with how Humble you carry yourself is something rare in today's world. The make-believe reality shows need to watch your family's videos over the last 3 years or so and learn how a reality show is supposed to be done. The truck looks like it has reached a new level of fast with the upgrades and knowledge learned. You have to detune already to match the grip, how big of a tire can you go and still fit the rules? It is going to be fun to watch the OG10 get dialed in and see the new combo come alive. Great Job SRC, The Old Man, and Gen2, this family is deserving of any and all the Good Fortune that may come your way! God Bless each of you.

That last pass HOOKED UP Great!! Being 4-500 pounds lighter. All New front end long travel suspension/ chassis work definitely proving major progress, All the updated electronics the holley ecu etc gonna bring you back to the top with your new NO prep setup. The s10 was a killer as is with all the old as hell electronics, sensors Etc you had been running forever, New s10 setup dailed in being lighter, new heads, new front clip chasis, long travel suspension, full fiberglass dog house! All new holley electronics, sensors etc. Your gonna be the S10 that terrorizes NO PREP racing community!!!

Damn it's exciting to see the Dime back!!! Can't wait to see that 18° combo doing work in a RACE, it's been too long! That last rip looked so damn good Man, I love the bang for the buck that Holley's ECUs offer, but it's such a shame that they have a reputation for screwing stuff up with software updates(even some instances of hurting engines). The Terminator X kits are hard to beat for late model plug-n-play engine setups that you aren't going to get too serious with; but I'm pretty Haltech-biased at this point for stuff that needs more than a TermX, the Haltech ECUs just seem to be more rock solid reliable with minimal bugs compared to the Holleys. Not to mention now offering the PDM-equipped Nexus options too, can't wait to put on of those in a project car, talk about simplifying things. (BTW, if you still have that Haltech VMS, maybe twist the old man's arm about trying it out in the Nova? Probably won't go for it, huh... lol)

But the blazers seem a bit top heavy for speeds these cars are achieving now. I never really see them do well in any of these events, so an s10 truck seems more logocal.

I have an S10 in my driveway that needs a good home. It was built before my uncle bought it and it was already converted to an LS. They did a very nice job on it. Ford 9", Caltrac bars, TH400 from Performance transmission, all new suspension, steering, interior etc... needs a good home to be finished up.

If you are having sensor issues the thing i found over my 50 years is grounds baby grounds. I do what car stereo shops csll the big 3 battery to frame, battery to block, battery to alternator. If you have a steel block aluminum heads i do one to the heads too. That usually helps in cars that eat sensors. Just something ive seen. Use a decent gauge battery cable.

Mechman high output alternator will fix your voltage issues and then an XS power lithium cell to keep the voltage when you need it most. I'm in the basshead scene and that combo will help me do 155db at 40hz. Loud! Thanks for your videos!

Keep testing even off camera test test test that truck is the heart of your channel and it's a lot lighter now and more HP so you have to find the sweet spot for your setup also figure out traction control see what you can max out on your test spot and log that tune good luck brother

doesn't cost much to get something going, but there's a 1994 ford thunderbird with a shortened AAM1150 in progress... I use it for plowing snow. 600 pounds on the hitch makes the front end come up 4 inches, that's 5 foot to the wheel center line. needs 16 for it to come off, that axle came off a 2011 dodge 2500 that was stated to have an upper limit of 800lbft on a 12.04 final drive, but that's only 80% of that target lift, but if it was pulling a trailer with 600lb on the hitch the front end would loose traction if the engine makes 840lbft... a 4.6 triton and updated 4r70w would only do that once. weight bar on the front bumper...

S10 is looking mean! Kind of sad that I just find found out you guys are going to be at brockport New York, that's 45 minutes from where I am.
