It's so fun! GD has this quality in him that he can make music from genres I don't otherwise like at all, and I'll love how he does it. I don't like repetitive songs and this certainly has a chorus that's really repetitive, but after watching the video, I just had a big grin on my face and this makes me feel so happy happy and energized. GD is a genius, there's no other way to say it.

["Laughing End 'Money' Donating 'millions' Grin"] is my favorite lyric from this song: "Laughing End" = When G-Dragon came out to the media after the four-hour police investigation for drug abuse, they asked him how it went to which he jokingly and confidently replied 'I laughed in the end'. "'Money' donating 'Millions'" = After the results came out negative for G-Dragon's drug tests, he donated millions of Won to an anti-drug organisation. And then with "Grin", GD laughs in the end. (itsANDYandJAS broke the lyrics down in their reaction, a lot of wordplays and expressions that only make sense if you speak Korean, as is often the case with GD).

Other fun tidbits: - The song came out October 2024, the year of the dragon, 88 months after his last comeback (GD was born in 1988, year of the dragon, of course). - During the breaking news section, on the anchor table you can find the same pair of glasses that GD wore during the investigation. I had to find your reaction first - I’ve been listening to the song on loop since last night, finally watched the MV this morning, and first thing when I opened KZbin today I HAD to come see whether you’d reacted yet (I knew you would have!
