When am I going to stop worrying that XG will eventually release a dud. So many want them to crash and burn. So many new G/G aiming for XG. NOT THIS TIME! I’ve never been into any pop groups I’m an ex bboy and I dj mostly soul and underground hiphop. But XG is totally different from anything I’ve heard and seen. They get down like a high level dance crew and they can rap and sing at a high level. I was a bit nervous for this release because I’m so invested in them but after hearing this, there’s no need to worry these girls are going to wreck everything and everyone!! The fact that the drums are driven by the Roland TR808 drum machine is a homage to Japanese music technology and the cornerstone of Hip Hop music. I actually owned a Roland TR808. The kick drum is the driving force in terms of the bass line. The lyrics are also a homage to old technology like the snap of the Motorola flip phone. So many references to old and recent phenomenon that makes this track appeal to a Gen X human being. XG are going to HUGE!!

From what I heard, some Alphaz talked to Cocona's parents during the show and they said that she had wanted to shave her head for some time, but the company hadn’t allowed it before because it didn’t fit the concept. In this MV, they allowed it, and it makes a lot of sense. I don’t know where you saw that she said she was going to shave her head to "send a message to the haters and give them something to talk about." The girls spread love and don’t look for fights or provoke anyone, and Cocona is very reserved and has a calm and kind personality. From what I see of her, it doesn’t seem like something she would say. The only time they send any message to the haters is through the lyrics in their music. I’m just saying this so you can be careful about what you spread around, to avoid creating more hate towards her for something she didn’t say without being sure.

To the people complaining that it's not good, just try to do what they can do. Try to follow along and the you will realize how difficult this song is. They did an amazing job. As a fellow music listener, this is a gorgeous Rap song. Anyways, as someonw who experimented a lot with her hair (K-pop hairstyles were part of what attracted me to the genre) and eventually shaved all my badly damaged hair off when I was 19, being bald really is an experience. Like because I like doing hairstyles it very quickly grew boring to me but some things really feel so different. Like when its cold; your scalp is no longer protected by the warmth of your hair so its chilly in the winter, going to bed and putting your head on the pillow feels so weird in the beginning too. I definitely needed to adjust to that myself.
