Awesome battle report. Wood elf list is awesome. Old world is a great system, although I miss the older magic systems (especially as I play dwarves). Do you like the changes to magic?

it's one of the best things you can take in an army for it's points, no reason to leave it at home. zaps chaff off the board, dents large groups of infantry, can be taken by non-wizard characters... it's incredibly useful!

There are going to be auto-take stuff even in games more narratively focused. It's completely fine. At least unlikr 40k, our armies and units aren't divided and presented to us with (unplayable trash) and (broken AF) with little to no room for anything in-between. ​@jolamber
