If a constrictor is already swallowing something, its gone. Constrictors dont start swallowing until their prey has long since stopped moving. At that point, its likely whatever they caught is internally crushed and damaged irreperably if not hella dead. If a constrictor JUST got a hold of a thing like seconds ago, then yeah theres a chance.

Except the python in this case didn't constrict the dog at all, and just swallowed it alive. Which would be a pretty dumb move on its end, if its throat wasn't conveniently lined with Xenomorph blood. And sometimes, constrictors only suffocate the prey and have them pass out instead of trying to crush their innards(which is easier said than done, especially for larger prey items). In that case, it is possible to save the prey from death, even if it was swallowed.

Creature movies like this have always been made people who’ve never seen a real animal, I swear. Like, Pirahnaconda. Okay, COULD have had some SMALL potential, if they’d made it semi-believable with at least a bit of research into the behaviors of both animals. Piranhas don’t typically rush their prey like that, they do get them cornered first if they can (at least this is what I’ve observed in my time working as a zookeeper). Anacondas, it goes without saying. I die a little inside every time I watch these.

Extra extra late reply; it wasn't because of people releasing pets, it was because a breeding facility got destroyed by a tropical storm that wasn't keeping their snakes correctly, which then freed hundreds of pythons into the wild. Pet pythons released here in there not only wouldn't be likely to ever find a mate, they'd be unlikely to survive in the first place. Hundreds of them released all at once however because of a facility not doing their diligence, that'll do it.

When I learned of this movie, I thought it was going to be a low budget Daikaiju (giant monster) fight flick. While the movie greatly disappointed me, I do love your video on it. If you're taking suggestions for movies to review, may I suggest "Sea-beast". A movie I believe it's from asylum, but I thought it was actually decent for what it was. I especially liked the monster design and its abilities. Also the movies "Wyvern" (personal favorite), and "Carny", featuring the Jersey Devil.

So the animal activists are fine with the local alligator species becoming extinct as a direct result of their actions? Doesn't sound very animal activisty. Okay so the ecosystem will balance itself. Yeah. But at what cost? Introducing an apex predator like that can devastate the local fauna. Come back in a year and there will be only pythons and the activists will be all "why'd you let the musk rats or whatever go extinct ranger lady?" Somehow I don't think the maker of this movie has met an actual animal activist. And if you are an animal activist who thinks releasing any animal into any environment is okay so long as they're free, you're a moron.

Well, another dumb Movie Monday review video, Mega Python vs Gatoroid. I'd saw this movie when it came out on sci-fi, I was like, oooookay. Just watched parts of it towards the end and just move on to other stuffs. Oh Alteori, at 7:32, the phrase you were trying to say is 'NO good deed goes unpunished' (In other words, those who help others are doomed to suffer as a result of their being helpful). Just want help you with that figure out that phrase. You should review Anaconda vs Lake Placid for dumb movie Monday. That movie should give you an idea on what it's about.
