I belive that WhaleWolf is based on an a Inuit mythological called Akhlut, basically an Orca that can shapesift into a wolf, allthough in alot of art they are drawn as a mix of the too animals. Also Ambulocetus and Pakicetus where early whales so I dont know how this cazy lady got there DNA. Also the trailer made this movie look more fun.

A very similar creature to Sharktopus was in Larry Correia's book "Monster Hunter Alpha". It was called a Luska. Front half was a huge shark, the back half was a nightmare of tentacles, with 2 large, clawed tentacles used as the main propulsion to drag it across land when it left the water. Whalewolf...looks like something I REALLY want to fight in a future Monster Hunter game. Damn thing just looks badass.

when i was a young lad, i found the sharktopus thing while adventuring on the internet. I, a sharkaholic, was fascinated by the concept. i loved it so much i taped paper tentacles onto the back of one of my shark toys. i never intended to watch the movie, i just loved the sharktopus. even though the concept is kinda stupid i still love the creature itself. i even drew (really bad nowadays) drawings of it and 2 other ridiculous sci fi creatures, such as "dinoshark" and "piranahconda." (i saw the piranahconda one, im surprised you knew of that one too. maybe checkout the probable cringe fest that is dinoshark.) i was actually really proud of the drawings at the time. thanks for the blast to the past, alteori!

My son is in love with any movie involving Sharktopus. He was 4 when he watched the first one. He kept grabbing it off my friend's movie shelf, and clueless me thought, he'd see the first person die and get scared and I could set the movie aside, then the first person died and he was in love...sigh...he LOVED the whalewolf. I judge these movies based on his excitement. I think this one is his favorite.
