I barely saw a pic of my dad at like 20 for the first time when I was 39 (I'm 41, he died in 2012). All of our family pictures got ruined a long, long time ago so we get excited when we come across something. I have no idea what he looked like any younger than that. I only have like 10 pictures of him max, and most are from his 30s on. I also only have 1 pic of my mom as a teenager, her senior portrait.

My dad was too! I was working at a hotel that his h.s. had a reunion at, and ppl recognized me by my face & name (Jonette, his names John & I'm his twin in girl mode lol). The women were telling me stories, fawning over how handsome he was and how he'd drive his really nice El Camino like a hot rod, and the men hated him, they were telling me how he'd beat them up or date their sisters or steal their GFS and break their hearts and make them cry 😂😂 I was mortified 😂😂
