Every so often I come back to this video. That intro demonstration is killer. From the clean tones, to the heavy syncopated chugs. I can't explain dude, it takes me somewhere else. A place where things ain't so dark. Love it man 🤘

It was a toss up between Plini and this for me. In the end I chose Nolly because the heavy end is much better and it still has a sweet clean end, and it has they same delay and reverb pedals for that prog sound anyway. I've trialled lots of amp simulators over the last few months Neural DSP just destroys them all.

Look into the ML Sound Labs stuff. They did the IR's used on some of Periphery's albums. Their amps have achieved the most realistic and high quality tube-like sounds I've come across in a plugin, especially their plexi, jcm800 and mesa mark series. I've bought or demoed pretty much everything out there over the past 15 years, including NDSP, and while it comes pretty close, ML just kills the game.
