Note(spoiler free): There is NO Pirate King currently, that's what the race for the One Piece is about, when you get it you are named the Pirate King. Gold Roger was the original Pirate King who died about 22 years ago right after he made the legend of the One Piece known!

Just a side note. Some of the sceneries in this video are actually taken from the movies, tv specials and openings. The places would still look great in the series. Don't expect everything will be animated and drawn so perfectly. This is an anime produced by Toei Animation on a weekly basis. The story and world building is still the best aspect of the series

I have been following their adventures for over 20 years and I still get excited with each new chapter. This show has the best world building out of any anime, amazing characters, intense moments, insane storylines. And what I would love is for new people like you, to not be daunted by the amount of episodes, but enjoy it to the fullest. P.S.
