We took the boys to run through the park and they found Steve's secret lair. In doing so, they ran through a bunch of pickers and burs. It took quite a while to get Tucker's fur bur-free.

Oh my gosh Linda, I understand very well on taking off burs! I have a golden retriever as well (5) and he got a ton of them last year! Combs and a little cutting ! Takes awhile! Tucker and Todd are so much fun to watch! Thank you 🥰😂

My Golden grandpuppy seemed to seek out any plant that might stick to his fur. Not a lot of burrs here in the desert wasteland, but there's a few plants that are sticky, but not prickly, and I suspect he just likes the added attention he gets during cleanup.

Ice cubes work great to take out the burrs. No combing or cutting needed. These two are the cutest!! ❤

Burrs... Cowboy magic detangler slides right out of horses tails so those flowing locks too & if you use plyers to squeeze burrs it dehooks too

2:12 my little dogs have their own personal fleece blankets on the couch, but my girl always has to claim mine, it’s the size of a 2 persons bed, so momma (me) can snuggle up and get all cosy - yet my 4kg girl manages to curl it all up under her little butt and then gives me the smirky face 😅 but I love her to bits ❤

Seeing them with the blanket reminded me of my German shepherd when I was a teenager. If you put a pillow down on the floor to lay on, he would always race to it and flop on it as quickly as he could, didn't matter if it was his side, head, or butt, as long as he got the pillow he was a very happy boy.

I have Goldens, too! Use Chris Christensen Silky Spirits on furnishings before taking them out during burr season. I use about 2 TBS & rub it into my hands, then work it into the leg furnishings, tail & chest. Tip from pro handler, Allison Alexander, Leading Edge Dog Show Academy. Works like a DREAM! Love Tucker, Todd & your hilarious, creative sense of humor ❤

Slather those things in baby oil. Let sit or rub the oil in. Brush / pull the burrs right out. My horses get clumps of them in their tails & mane. That's the easiest way I've found.

I hate burs they’re so annoying 😩 my dog decided to walk around in some higher grass and when he came out he was covered in burs head to behind, he was so proud of himself too lol 😂 till I had to start the process of removing the burs that’s when the regret set in 😂😂😂
