If the likes of us old Sods were to be prohibited from riding combustables, but were allowed to ride an electric bike, God vorbid, then i'm sure it would be the "Maeving" that the very bigger majority of the likes of us would choose! I certainly would..., having just recently seen a very good and well presented review of that exact same model that you were allowed to park ya bum on. I think, that all I would miss on such a bike, would be just the sound... but hey, they still make playing cards and clothes pegs LOL!! A very good idea, to do such a Bike-Live report from an "oldtimer" point of view. This is the third and probably last review I will bother to watch, but certainly the one that I enjoyed and connected to the most. Thanks for another good offering, and yet another variation on a theme. Greets from an expat in Switzerland who has never managed to get to NEC for this event.

There was just something about the styling on that Maeving that made me take a second look. Certainly hope we will be able to carry on riding ic engined machines but you may be right that that one would be the one of choice if not. Certainly from the styling point of view. Interesting to have a look around. Last time I went to a bike show was at Earls Court in 1977. These days I'm more at home at an auto jumble.

A great alternative review of the event. I too have no interest in electric vehicles, although wouldn’t mind a test ride. I see the prices have just been released for the new Himalayan. I can remember F2 being the importers of Ural & Jawa, although never bought one. My CX is a bit more stock than the one you featured, lol. All those Indians & no cavalry, lol. Haven’t been to the NEC for a few years now as it makes for a very expensive day if by yourself, so thanks for the walk around.

Thanks Martin, glad you enjoyed it. I was actually surprised at just how many companies there were producing electric bikes, it may be the future but not for me. The new Himi prices are pretty good I'm sure it'll sell well. It certainly ain't cheap now going to the NEC but I haven't been gor a few years so decided to treat meself😅 Thanks for watching. Thank you for including your visit to the show, it’s always nice to see the show from another’s perspective. I usually go myself but, as I’ve just had a hernia op, I’ve had to settle for watching all the YT presentations for which I’m very grateful.

Excellent video as always mate. I was the on Thursday, seeing the BSA in the flesh pretty much made my mind up for my next bike. What a stunner it its, and brilliant neutral riding position. However, I was surprised just how much I like the super meteor. Decisions decisions ! I've got until March to really decide.

Thanks Richard, glad you liked the video but even better that you went yourself. Goldstar or Super Meteor, difficult choice as there both excellent bikes. Probably comes down to the riding position. Personally I'm not really into the more feet forward cruiser type position but that's a very personal choice. Be interested to hear what you eventually choose next year. Whichever it is, you'll end up with a great bike. Cheers.
