I just received 2 more I now have 4 ophire hooks. The 5.0, , 5.5, 6.0, & 6.5 mm. I absolutely love these ophire hooks and will continue to get more. The color is amazing and I love inline hooks.

Ohhh bummer!! if you are blind, you can’t crochet as well!! I haven’t had that issue yet, but I don’t think I have a super sparkly pink one. Was it one of their limited additions?

Yes, they are very nice looking and I can see how they look on their website. But I can’t find anyone actually using them. Could you let me know how they work with various fibers. ❤

Hi Sandra!! I have used them on cotton, acrylic, wool, polyester, and bamboo. I have not had a problem with any fibers as of yet!

Have you noticed any drag on these hooks when they are new? I just got some oops hooks and it’s the first time I’ve experienced this with Ophire. Thoughts?

Hello!! Thank you for the question. Sometimes hooks do need to be wiped off a bit if they are giving me an issue. I don’t remember having any issues with these hooks in particular. It does happen though and I just use my T-shirt or a soft cloth to get any possible residue off of them from manufacturing and or shipping. Have a great weekend!
