I missed Charles & Gary so much this episode! Though I am one of those people who is over Chock's possessiveness & overall ick, I'm really not thrilled with Joan this episode. Chock was hogging her on the group date, but instead of telling him that he needed to let the others have some time with her as well, she just sat there all snuggled with him, ignoring everyone else. I thought that was incredibly rude & totally against what she told Trista about needing to spend as much time with each guy as possible that week. The whole thing with letting Mark go early was surely a move by production, but her telling Mark that she was letting him go because he was not ready or as far along with the grieving process as she is was garbage. All season, Joan has been breaking down over her late husband & doubting her readiness for all of this. To throw that on Mark instead of just being honest & saying she doesn't feel romantically towards him was a bad look & more than just a little hypocritical. "Hi Joan? This is Pot. You're black." (If you watched Friends, you'll get the reference.)

I was thinking the same thing when Joan told Mark that he just wasn't far along enough in his healing journey. I don't agree that he was the cutest, though, and his personality was a bit too mellow and/or lackluster for me, especially in comparison with how he presented during hometowns on Joey's season

Guy had a restraining order that was filed against him in 2021. Chock used to be my favorite for Joan until my boyfriend and I watched the episode in which he was all over her during the GROUP date. We found it controlling/possessive, obnoxious, and selfish. He even stated he didn't care what the other men thought. She should see his behavior for the red flag that it is. Guy had a restraining order that was filed against him in 2021. Pascal would be a bad pick as well. He has some poor guy doing his laundry on the show and overall seems self-centered, vain and fake. Bad choices all around.

@@57andstillkicking That it no way means the things she was stating didn't happen. People drop restraining orders for all sorts of reasons, most likely because he is the father of their children. He even acknowledged that he did things he shouldn't have done, attempting to excuse it as a "dark" time in his life, or something to that effect. Also, why would one go onto such a public show with that sort of skeleton in his closet? It was for that reason he unsuccessfully attempted to get the record sealed. It shows very poor judgment. The bottom line is that it is a huge red flag.

Did anybody notice when she was talking to Trista that her makeup was very thick was even like cracking in a few places I tell you whoever the makeup person is on that show at least for that moment with Trista didn't do a very good job Also I liked Chock at first but now he just seems too eager I don't know why she agreed to do this cuz it's obvious she's still not over her husband and it's not really fair to the other guys but I have noticed that during all this the other guys have become more open at least this experience has given them the confidence to start dating again

She has so much makeup on, my husband and I were just, ugh yuck. She spent too much time much time in the sun, she’s got crepey skin, I know she’s a senior, just like me. She is very beautiful, I don’t think any of the men on her season are right for her. I’m not really sure she has time in her life for a marriage, her priorities are her children, just like me, she’s not going to move anywhere.

@@jimrebr agree. Have you noticed there are episodes where she did not have enough makeup and all her facial wrinkles are showing. Wrinkles in arms too. She spent too much time in the sun. But her personality is kind and mature. I liked that. I think that the Golden Bachelorette/Bachelor producers should NOT choose a woman or man who is less than 5 years into the grieving process. They are 99% not ready. Joan is only 3 years and she's not ready.

Ok, I still think it will be Guy. Chock has been giving creepy bs vibes from the beginning. Hopefully Joan will figure that out before it’s too late. Pascal seems fun but he’s way too high maintenance. Jordan seems like a bore and Keith seems like a dud. Keith reminds of Patrick from Sponge Bob world. Guy is the perfect package and he knows it but he seems caring and lovable and I think he’ll be fun to spend time with. Guy is still THE GUY. Hope I’m not wrong. 😅

What is this under Joan's nose? 0:47 (you have to pause and go full screen to see it fully) I noticed it once before, she is probably able to hide it with makeup most of the time. It seems too low to be a lip lift scar, that would normally be in the crease of the nose.
