Oh. My. Gosh!! I have watched tutorial after tutorial claiming to be for beginners and very easy, when in reality they’re very complicated! This is by far the best! It’s 3 steps!! THREE. Other tutorials add so many excessive hand movements that just make everything confusing. Thank you!!!

By the way for a faster slip knot, just wrap your yarn around your hook and single crotchet, buy gently so your hook can go through:)❤

Why not try a slip knot? If there is a hold in the middle you can always sew it up

Ok i'm not gonna lie, I don't crochet, and stumbled upon these tutorials by accident. However, the few "Simple" tutorials I've saw have only confused me and don't teach me anything. They move too fast and don't show things plainly enough. Seeing this tutorial actually was the first one I understood and if I wanted to replicate it I could! So good job on putting things plainly enough, and showing everything slow enough to where it made sense! (To someone who wasn't even trying to learn crochet work lol.)

Brilliant! How simple and effective! I always get so confused when I first start to make a magic ring. I know it’s not hard but my brain always tries to scramble the way to do it. Your way just opened my mind to see the reality of what you are doing to make the ring. Now I can even figure out the other way to make a magic ring. You made it so clear! Just that small bit of an adjustment in the visual and I got it! I’ve always said that learning can depend so much on the teacher. Thank you this really made me happy of how proud I was when I did it for the first time and when I tried it, it was a little difficult to know where to put the hook in as well as figuring out how I did the first stitch then finishing the required amount of stitches into the slip knot magic ring. When I got all of my stitches that were required for the project, it got a little difficult and very stressful trying to figure out where to put my hook along with putting it in the front or back loop or just through both of them which I got the hang of that later on and now I am already trying to make a baby octopus or something small that is similar to an octopus and I’m doing actually really good at it so I am very proud of myself and thank you a lot for showing me that
