I have the same question. Actually though, it happened in April 2016 and for the next two years, the wanders lived in Alaska, moved back to Ohio, and it took a while before they could actually be arrested. It was a long investigation before there was enough evidence. But still…. I think they were arrested in 2018? And now it’s 2025 and one still hasn’t gone to trial?? The two plea deals came shortly after they were arrested though - within a year, I think. It’s the trials that have taken forever.

The fact that they’re going to sentence them before Billy’s trial is kind of unfortunate. The only reason they testified against George was because of their plea deals. Once they’re sentenced, I don’t know if they can be forced to testify in Billy’s trial. But the fact that Billy hasn’t even gone to trial and it’s been NINE years is pretty nuts. @@amyjs1987 My question was clear.
@RandomMovieClips-gg2jb2 күн бұрын
@@jinxterpinxter Seems like a potentially loaded question, but I'll give it a try. First off the obvious answer is: No. No place is "crime free." But, taking a look at crime rates per 100,000, Wyoming is among the lowest, usually ranking in the top 5 lowest crime rates. Conversely, Wyoming has the highest gun ownership per household of any state. But - we're a nation divided on these issues. Everyone can find stories or statistics to support their claims. All I know is that Wyoming honors the bill of rights by allowing me to carry a gun. Being able to defend oneself in the face of violence is a big factor in not being a victim. If you were going to choose a state to commit a crime in, most likely you'd avoid a state like Wyoming because there's a good chance you will be met with equal or greater force. And, please keep in mind, there's no wall separating our states. If someone does not like all the guns in Wyoming, there are a handful of major interstates that can get you out of the state within a few hours. Likewise, if someone doesn't like living in a place like NYC, where it seems that only the bad guys have guns, they can move to another state. We live in a rural area. On our sheriff's office website for our county, they advise us of the long response times due to geographical separation and they advised us to be able to defend ourselves. I take that right seriously. I'm trained properly and I observe safe gun storage, etc. I hope this helps answer your question. I wish there was a "crime free" place to live in this world, but I'm unaware of any. I'm pro choice - I chose to be armed. Stay safe out there.

Wagner family? The chances of Billy getting off scott free aren’t good regardless of whether Jake testifies or not. Jake tried to take all the blame and save his brother George and from watching the trial I do think there was reasonable doubt. After that Jake may not think it makes a difference either way whether he testifies. George’s trial was in 2022. The judge should have sentenced the two soon after George’s trial. This is more than ridiculous and wouldn’t it be terrible if the two most responsible get out over a plea bargain?

And might I mention there’s a whole jail full of people who literally tried to overthrow our own government with a bunch of SUPPORTERS who have been sitting at “Freedom Corner” every damn night for YEARS.
