Howard needs to clean it up. Thankfully we had a weak opponent. The EZ pass should have been an INT and he had another terrible INT. MSU could not cover anyone so it was a good workout for our WRs for sure.

I would say the defense needs to clean it up. It could have very well been 24-21 at the half. The pass defense was atrocious, and adjustments weren't made until mid way through the 3rd quarter. We saw it last week as well which tells me this wasn't an anomaly. Howard will be fine. He's already better than McCord. Howard makes the offense more dynamic and less predictable. Chip Kelly is a difference maker.

The score is misleading. MSU had a bunch of self-inflicted problems. As a Michigan fan, I think the Michigan and MSU rivalry this year will be a close game. MSU's new coach is the real deal.
