I concur with everything you said, although i do think in will be a tick lower scoring on both sides. OSU 33- ND 21 I just think that although the game will play out exactly as you describe, I think points will just be a little harder to come by in this game.

I don’t mean to slight ND at all because I think this ND team is different than some of the recent past ND teams. They’re legit. But I think this OSU team is not only special. But they’re locked in. They got embarrassed against Michigan and they made a decision right then and there that it wouldn’t happen again. I think they get it done.

Who did Notre Dame play, honestly, this year? A bunch of nobodies, until they played Georgia and Penn State in the tournament. Good on them, but I will be rooting for the Buckeyes, as I always do. Thanks Sam, for the survey on this final game.

I DO NOT understand why you are using stats for the regular season, They are worth it for where these teams are you should ONLY be looking at the stats that reflect the playoff. ND is getting absolutely NOWHERE near 5.7 yards per carry during these playoffs. They have averaged 4.07 ypc which not that great THIS typifies EXACTLY why I do not use stats that are compiled with a different team that will be facing OSU... Next you be trying to tell us that this is the "best" defense OSU has faced.... again No it's not. ND holds teams in this playoff to 3.36 YPC IT SHOULD BE NOTED that IU and UGA during the playoff struggled to run the ball and averaged well below that 3.36 number Penn State had a strong run game and rushed for 4.9 YPC All three of ND play off teams were not exceptional at attacking through the air. People tend to try to make this more difficult than it is. OSU will STONE the running game of ND forcing the game into the hands of a qb who tends to turn over the ball. ND has had 2 or more turnovers in each game. 4 fumbles (2 that the ND offense recovered) and 3 picks. OSU has had just 2 turnovers both interceptions by throws that should have been tossed away. The OSU defense is allowing just 1.95 yards per carry and is AVERAGING 5.33 sacks per game along with 9.33 Tackles for loss. ND is primarily a man-to-man defense and that will get you KILLED if you run that...ask UT and Oregon how that worked out for them... I just cant see ND winning the battle up front against OSU perhaps they will fare better against the OSU OL I think that its that its something like 14-6 at halftime and OSU pulls away the second half to a final of 38-15

ND weakness are they can't play zone and double, triple team OSU receivers. They can't bring their safties high. ND lack the speed. ND can't play man coverage. OSU pass and run will eat them up. It canceles out this, so call OSU OL weakness. OSU RUN isn't weak people. It's the best doeo run in the country. ND has 1 star. OSU What 11?
