As a Penn State fan, I get the criticism of Franklin..to a point. Not too long ago Franklin owned the clock and showed what we are able to do. The whole HC of PSU thread is getting old

I think this is a good ranking. No real disagreements from me except, I'd switch Boise St. and Arizona St. Both are a definite level below the other 6 teams, but at least Boise St. has one player who has the capability of going nuclear. Arizona St. doesn't have that.

Ohio State is definitively 2 and potentially has the highest ceiling of all the teams remaining. Ohio State and Penn State are not the same.

Good assessment. I agree with you up to Georgia. Ohio State has already beaten Penn State. So I feel the 3 best teams are Ohio State, Oregon, Georgia then Texas and Penn State. That said Oregon is the most consistent and as you know Kirby Smart can sometimes do more with less. I feel OSU has the best Defense and if their Offense comes together and they beat Oregon they will win it all. I feel OSU and Oregon are a level above Penn State and Texas and Georgia is about a 1/2 level below OSU and Georgia. Any of these top 3 will likely win it all. Barring injury, I believe whoever wins the OSU/Oregon game will be the National Champion.

Can't ever take your opponent for granted. Hope texas locks in gets their offense rolling. Quinn needs to air that ball out and take it serious in the red zone. Sark needs to get over the hump put the foot on their opponent. Texas gets their offense rolling the win the championship. Quinn need to get out of his head and elevate he can do it.

Sam, I enjoy your stuff! I think the NIL/Portal has thrown a curveball at Rhule. However, I think Rhule has been very good at making the adjustment. I think a hybrid approach with high school recruiting/development and select NIL/Portal selections can work.
