G'day Joe, will you call that the Easton made axis all area 🤔 John at frickenjeep mounted a big adjustable beach umbrella on his splitter zero trip hazard low cost. You put me onto that transfer pump mine only lasted half a season every time I went to use it it just buzzed and wouldn't pump even with new batteries I had to get my old jiggle hose out I've had for thirty years the batteries are still good in it 😜👍.

Hey Joe. Great video showing your new approach in handling the wood splitting debris that the processor generates. Could you take that splitting debris material and run it through your chipper and convert the material into your smoking chip products? With it being partially broken down, it would probably feed through your chipper unit quite easily and it would increase the value of your wood splitting waste. Just a thought. Thank you for the great video and for letting us civil your wood yard!

Hey Joe, another great video on the setup progress. A suggestion you will helpful on the wood chip plastic containers. Attach the container to a wooden pallet to make it easier for your folks to pickup and move the containers. Recommend using a couple of 1x4 boards about 3 feet long screwed to the pallet through the inside bottom of the plastic tote. Also, put a couple of quarter size holes in the bottom corners to allow water to drain out. Don’t those Japa Processors come with a sun shade built in? Have a great day! - Thaddeus

@@ohiowoodburner I have my totes mounted on a pallet like that. I find that cutting the tote bladders in half makes a good size for the scraps, so I don't have to dig or dump out as big of a pile. Without the cage around them they tend not to hold shape if too tall. I have a line of 1/2 bladders lined up filled with topsoil for my wife to make make her raised garden. I put wood around the top edges inside and out to hold shape of them. Lots of great ideas out there for using totes in many ways. Love the channel...hope to make it up for the meet n greet.

You don’t want to run out of fuel, it is a royal pain in the butt to get it running after you run out of fuel. You might consider a permanent diesel tank on a trailer with a 12 volt pump hose and nozzle. Then you will be able to refill the tank the easy way. Plastic tanks eventually will leak. Food for thought

If you get a new transfer pump, similar to the one you had, you're going to have to pull the strainer (white) insert out of those yellow cans. I use needle nose pliers, grab the edge of the strainer, give the pliers a full rotation and then pull it out. Kind of a pain at first, but it goes faster with the second can.

Footing around machinery can get tangled and falls are very possible especially if you factor in fatigue. Wouldn’t hurt to move those blades a touch farther from the action 😉; if your insurance guy/gal saw that, they would probably say the same. Love the show, especially all of the trips back to the house, barn, garage. I resemble those happenings! On the farm as kids we were made to tote five gallon buckets to haul our lunch, water and tools to the fields and all nuts, bolts, washers, bearings and belts had better find their way to the bottom of that bucket when you broke down and were waiting on someone to bring parts and to give your faulty ones to. Your tote bag sounds good but you need to bring a leaf blower for the machine. Sounds like yet another job for your favorite means of conveyance, the handy Ohio wheelbarrow (my vote goes here)!

Had a thought. You can cut down the height of the cage for the tote and the bladder itself to be the perfect height to fit under the Perfect-Clean conveyor and the disc cleaner and be easily moved with the pallet forks as that part of the tote cage will be intact. Another option is like a lawn tractor and trailer under those parts of your firewood processing equipment. When the time comes, am probably going to be a Japa customer when upgrading to a processor. Until then will get more out of becoming more physically fit by running the saw and splitter. If I can't run those effectively, a processor won't change much except make the process much more expensive. Not sure yet if the Japa 315 or 365 will be the better first choice for a processor.

I was at your crossroads once.My personal decision was made simply as leveraging my future in the biz. There was no way I could keep up the pace and grow with my saw and splitter. I went for a low end entry level processor....traded it in...traded it in... here I am!

Hey Joe maybe you ought to beg the camera operator for a side by side four wheeler to run back and forth on. Getting forgotten stuff would be funner. Have a great 👍 day

You may consider a insalared shed with a are conditioner ran on a soler system and a wood stove for winter to get out of the elements . This will make it easier to go ba k to work after a comfortable brake insted of its to far or to much moda vation needed to walk that far

That's the ticket Joe! They put a clean- out conveyor on that, no sense in conveying it out onto the ground!👍

Joe, I didn't see a Dr. Pepper in your man purse lol. On a serious note I have two ibc bladders I would be happy to donate if you can use them. You might be able to set one on a pallet and stick under the cleaner.
