Really enjoy Brett's perspective from his career path. I'd really love to hear more about playing in Europe.

Can u talk about the 2016 world juniors and that Finland quarterfinal game. Like that game seemed so hype, and u guys were so close to beating that yucky Finland team.

Oh man. I played college hockey at D1 school, and I completely forgot about the tutoring. Thankfully I was a good student so I skipped the tutoring sessions, but I still caught a lot of crap for it.

Perlini's rock. Hope in near future you will tell your followers how you are preparing for your upcoming training camps. Brett to Europe? Bubz to Charlotte? Brett how could Girls not be an advantage living on a college camus!?

Hey can you make a video at some point explaining the difference between major junior hockey and junior a, b, c etc? Also, if you live in the US what CHL leagues can draft you?
@Bubzp112 ай бұрын
To be honest bro I try to just make vids on my experiences so I didn’t play junior b,c etc so I wouldn’t know what to say

45:00 couldn’t you play Canada university hockey afterwards? Obviously not quite the same level tho
@111190p2 ай бұрын
You certainly could it’s a good option for sure. Not quite the same funding or pedigree as the NCAA but they’re making strides

Seeing that image of Johnny was a gut punch. 💔
@ianmartens52862 ай бұрын
Apparently when you play in the CHL (at least in the WHL) the league will pay for your university tuition if you choose to go to university after playing.
@111190p2 ай бұрын
This is true for the CHL they do offer School packages. Most of these become void if a player signs a pro contract, so it takes a lot of discipline to not turn pro and take your school package.

I miss the Michigan State dining facilities (class 2005)
@librarycard37482 ай бұрын
WHL travel schedule (miles on the road) seems too intense as an outsider, OHL isn't too bad. I'm guessing the ECAC schools have mediocre facilities, in comparison to Michigan or Minnesota that would cater to athletes and hockey way more. Junior really should lower there games to like 60 at the most imo.

Considering the topic of this video, any thoughts on the lawsuit against the NCAA? Would you have been interested in playing junior and then going to college? And same for Brett, would he have played junior if college hockey was an option after?
@Bubzp112 ай бұрын
Oh totally! That’s a game changer if you can’t do both. I really hope it happens I feel like there’s gonna be a lot better players because of it

As a grown man with a wife and 3 kids who has worked 60+ hours per week for the past 10 years in manufacturing facilities I find this video humorous. An eleven hour workday plus travel time eats up about 13 hours of each day Monday thru Friday and 7-1/2 half hours of your saturday for a half a day of work. No time for video games or even television. Ever.
