Trends have whole other meaning for koreans. It's always so funny for me to see how they go ALL IN on the trends haha. Like some years ago none of them even heard about MBTI, but now it's a major topic and everybody knows their personality type. Personal color is the same thing now and they do the same with furniture, like everyone has the same mirror now, there is THE mirror and THE table and THE home cafe look etc. Same with fashion, there are always a few trendy brands that all of them need, or THE sunglasses like Gentle Monster etc. It's just funny :D

I think personal colour in korea was a thing long before the trend started. Infact, I'm pretty sure the trend itself started from korean beauty youtubers. But I do agree with you! Koreans go all in over trends

@@asuka7892haha, Koreans did not start this concept. Color analysis has been around since the 1920s, starting in the US and reaching the height of its popularity in the 1980s. Koreans just re-popularized it along with TikTok users as well.

Before the results, I thought you were warm toned but I thought more of a darker season like autumn (maybe bc you wear so much dark colors and still look great). honestly I love black on nina alot she looked so cool but we kinda know nina shes too nice to be a winter cool and come off edgy hahaha in a good way. whiles I saw so many cool black outfits that she absolutely rocked! I do miss seeing the old era nina with brighter colors but I didn't like the brown outfits What I do love is when she had Brown hair SLAAAYYYY it was giving such a soft aesthetic, BUT I think she's pretty no matter what! 🤗❤

Edit: I just saw the fabric color swatch they give you at 25:23. I might choose to go to Color Place instead (or as well? XD) as Cocory doesn't give you this kind of thing unless you buy it separately (you get a printed color chart, but it's not the same). ^^;; As soon as I started watching your video, I predicted spring and I was right! ^^ (I had one done in Kyoto (got "Cool Summer" with "Cool Winter" as a secondary season) as Cocory was fully booked in Seoul before I left Japan, but I want to go back to Seoul and get it done there in spring 2025 (and then I'll go to Japan and Taipei as well).)

The second you started video I knew you are Light Spring thanks to the blanket back ground. And while watching my eye would follow some pinkish light on your left cheek and conecting it with nicely with pink squers behind you. Well, you’re wearing black so if you took your color analysis seriously, you are winter cool! However, my first impression is that you are a “Light Spring” in the 12 seasons analysis. Most of your colors should be warm and pure like a spring garden but I think you can also wear some pure pastels. Maybe baby blue and baby pink.

depends on who you go to, but the average is usually 100usd. i've seen places in korea that had a basic personal color analysis for 60-70usd, but it's the bare bones reading done by a less experienced analyst. a lot of places seem to have different levels with different additions to the analysis! for example, i had one done in korea for ~100-110usd where i met with a more experienced analyst, and i had a style/fashion reading based on my body shape!

Such BS. I would never trust a color analyst that says your natural hair color doesn't suit you and your ideal hair color should be different from your natural 🤦‍♀Your natural hair color is part of what makes your contrast/chroma - which in turn is a part of what you should base the analysis on. I think there is a high probability that you got a wrong analysis. I also think she was quite sloppy in her analysis and it did not seem they had natural light there which is important for a reliable result. So...
