I watched a lot of pregame Shohei videos while he was with the Angels. He randomly fields or catch balls and he is really good 😆

He's a good athlete, he could probably play just about any position, but with his size and body type, he would probably be best at 1st base. I think the only reason he was DH with the Angels was to save his energy for pitching. Now he is rehabbing from arm surgery, so he has to DH. I hope that he starts spending more time shagging balls in the outfield during batting practice, that would be fun to watch 😁. Thanks for the comment and insight 🙌! 🙏😊

He’s also one of the best fielding pitchers when he’s on the mound. There just isn’t anything he doesn’t do well on a baseball field.

Such a nice gesture for Shohei to come out and bestow all those gifts on a young deserving fan in person. The kid was obviously in awe and grateful for what was presented to him. What bothered me, though, was that I read many of the bobblehead dolls given out prior to the game were immediately offered for sale online after the game. That's disrespectful and money-grubbing. The actual memento didn't seem important enough to them.

I collect a few of the Hot Wheels modeled after real cars. It's always Ebay for me where I'm paying $30 - $150 per car which was originally priced at $1.
