I’m so impressed by how expressive your faces are with just a few sketchy lines. I don’t think I’ve seen even photorealistic artists that can capture interesting expression and emotion that you capture in quick sketches. I’ve gotta watch all your tutorials to see how you achieve this!

I like your sketch a lot -- the layers! Questions: How long do you usually wait for the marker color to dry before adding another layer? I've had some trouble with smudging if I layer a color over black pen too soon. Acrylics markers take some dry time too, I think. How long did this sketch take you to complete? Thanks for giving us your time and effort.

The Ohuhu markers that I am using are alcohol ink markers so they dry faster. With this drawing I used the black marker to sketch and the other ones to color it in. I found that since I was coloring in three figures I would move from one to the other and it allowed the ink to dry. I hope that helps! ❤️

The Ohuhu are alcohol ink markers and the Arrtx are acrylic markers. I almost always use both types (ink and acrylic) in my artwork. I love both brands and because I do a lot of mixed media work I will continue to use both in my artwork.
