Hi Anna. Watching from the country near Stony Plain,Alberta. We had a week of -20c with morning snow and you betcha the baking was in full swing. Overnight it warmed up to +3 and the only treat I got done was matrimonial cake. Tomorrow the plan is to make your chocolate date cake and melting moments. Yes - most frostings freeze very well. Just whip it after you;ve thawed it to make it fluffy and smooth again.
