Oil Boiler and Low loss Header Installed - Navien LCB700

We Install the Navien LCB 36kw oil boiler in the Garage at the Rural Renovation. I attempt to show you the process of piping, wiring and commissioning the Navien Oil boiler.

Nice job....👍 Navien combi gas boilers have got a lot of problems over in the USA with multiple faults in their construction and long term reliability issues , this is the first oil boiler I've seen and it will be interesting to see how it holds up in the next few years compared to its gas equivalent , I hope your going to do the servicing and maintenance of the system so we can follow its progress... Yes someone else had mentioned the problems In the US. Luckily that's a completely different model. I will definitely do a service video when the time comes. Thanks again .

Pea gravel is non compressible and better than sand for drive crossings etc. ;-) Main problem with Navien you eluded to without realizing: Components are more like gas boiler, they won't last in the far more aggressive/corrosive oil boilers......... If you watch any American heating chanels you will have seen the problems Navien are having over there ( they have been there some years now) Biggest problem I see is Navien don't use industry standard burner spares so as a service engineer I wont have ANY spares on the van to fit them, so customers will be cold until I can get them from Navien. Time will tell I guess. Cheers.

Thanks for the feedback. I have seen some issues with the Navien gas boilers in America but not so much the oil Boiler, or this particular model. I had similar concerns with parts etc, but it comes with a 10 Year warranty, and Navien has a nationwide service/repair team. Having been on the manufacturers training course, and met some of the staff I feel confident in the product. As you say, time will tell. Thanks 👍

Nice work. However, I was always led to believe external boilers could not be installed internally.

Cheers thanks. This one is perfectly fine. It's no different to the internal version other than it's better protected.
