Oil Change - 2021 Vespa 300 GTS HPE

There's other videos that can show you how to change your oil on your Vespa GTS 300. But I made this one for the HPE in case anyone was wondering if there was a difference. I don't think there is.
This Vespa reached it's first 600 miles and needed it's first oil change. Be warned that by performing your first oil change yourself may void your warranty as it still needs a Paid inspection, which is required by warranty so if you wanna save money, take it to Vespa Repair Shop, get it inspected and your booklet stamped once you've done all the hard work yourself. Save a few Bucks.

Some ppl use 10w40 some ecen 15w50 on this hpe engine consuming too much oil

1: never use a tool for install the oil-filter! 2: to check oil level at a vespa, screw the pin in!

Hello my friend. I strained the oil plug seat a little while changing the oil. The screw is solid, but I stripped the slot, the place where the screw went in. The master came and closed the gasket again. The liquid seal lasted. Is the liquid seal safe? Will I have a problem after a certain period of time due to overheating while driving long distances? This is the first time in my life that I see such a product. I looked online. The whole world uses it. Do you think there will be a problem? Thank you please.

I would ask a MASTER technician about this, I am not a professional, I only fix and maintain my vehicles and hope to share what I learned. The oil plug for Vespa is very large and has VERY fine threads so please confirm if it is the plug or the casing damaged. Liquid seal Black RTV sealant can last until your next oil change, so it's a cheap solution as these Vespas are not supposed to get very hot, but the rider will need to keep an eye on it. If the SLOT is damaged, as it's part of the engine case, then repair requires expertise.

I agree. I haven’t had to top mine off yet but with todays modern engines and oils. I would check mine every 500 ish miles. It’s inconvenient to check so I am considering a new cover to include sight glass

As long as it's 5W40 motorcycle oil. You should be fine. Buy the brand you prefer.
