Haven't thought of just taking the filter part out. I usually take it out to clean it after I drain the oil . Time saver

Yes I have found it a good way to go.

I have to exact bike. And there was a lot a metal shavings in the screen. They said it is a broken gear box

Sounds like a bummer. Metal are definitely not a good sign. Hope you get sorted.

The plug in the middle facing down is the correct drain plug....not the filter plug.

Mine has been stripped and repaired so I like using the side filter one.

Where did you get the towbar I've git 05 1600 classic
@StephenRiley_Rilesmedia2 жыл бұрын
@Bruce stillwell I had Wayne Dingle from Adelaide make it. He is or was shadow trailers. Am about to sell the trailer so if you want the tow bar I can sell for the right price. But I am in Lismore NSW
