Some good info, but one thing you didnt touch base on is the use of an oil feed restrictor, which i have had a LOT of people ask me about when to and when not to use them. Just food for thought and keep up the good work, really like the turbo talks idea as it helps out a lot of people, as we all know there is a TON of info to dig through and all too often there is a LOT of very bad info thrown around.

Yeah, based on research, journal bearings dont require a restrictor while a ball bearing turbo does. On the precision website, the -4 to 1/8" NPT fitting description states "PLEASE NOTE: no restrictors are to be used inline of a -4an feed fitting, just this fitting. ". On forums, either a -10 drain line or restrictor fixes a smoky turbo. I wish precision would give us an answer

what about a remote twin turbo set up like i have I'm running a -6 to the rear and splitting off to each turbo than a -8 out to a pump thann to the oil pan. looking to upgrade to precisions but need guidance to select the right one lol

Does a 5858 ball bearing need a restrictor? If so, what size should be used?

I have a 6262 PTE JB on my Honda s2000 with 4an feed to a 10an return. I had oil once sprinkle all over my charge pipes and components that are close to the turbo as well as some smokes coming out of the exhaust that a friend of mine noticed. It haven’t happen again in a month. Is this normal or should I change my setup? I heard honda s2000 have high oil pressure.

What is the pitch for a 6266 turbo oil feed fitting

The drain line should be straight down too, can't have it go down and up even a bit as oil will pool and block it

Hey bro i bought a gen 2 pro mod ,i am using dash 6 fed line and dash 10 return when the car idles it leaks oil.dint drag the rx7 yet but scared if oil leaks on the slick..very unhappy with precision and lack of help.lots of people say thats normal,i cant see that doe,any help,its brand new.and expensieve.

There's no oil "seal," the seal is the bearing. 99% of people blaming the turbo for oil consumption have setup issues

Ok, so oil exiting your turbo is aerated....really? The Internet is a wealth of cursory information without any substantive technical reasoning. Have you conducted any technical testing to verify the oil is not "foam" while it's in the bearing? This is great info on how to hook up lines, but a little more of how the watch is built would be nice for the engineers/scientists in the crowd.

I could feel how awkward and uncomfortable he was the whole video. I imagine he peed a little while everyone was staring at him. Just look at the camera and relax. I thought someone was going to throw something at him the way he was looking around.
