Al Bull Gotcha! It's not a rule. Some people use thinner and others don't. Most people use thinners with brushes. Just try to see what feels right for you.

Is it possible you could do a video for beginners and explain what your doing on the canvas and why your doing it the way you are. This video went so fast and i really would like to do acrylics.
