Thank you so much! They are very creamy normally but I painted this in the middle of summer and they were extra buttery.

@@YolandaBlazquez I am in France and we are on October like still in hot summer 🌞⛱️ ! Perhaps if we want them a bit less creamy or oily, we could put them in the fridge 10 mns before painting ? I can see that when coconut oil is in the fridge, it solidify.

I just bought sennelier the other day and craypas as well to try pastels for the first time and there’s a huuge difference between the two. I’m thinking of buying more colours from sennelier. Expensive but so worth it.

They are very worth it IMO. I haven’t tried the craypas but I guess they’re harder. Sennelier are super soft and buttery ❤

Realmente precioso, me impresiona la calidad de detalle que logras con esta técnica, se me dificulta hacer trazos finos. Crees que se pueda lograr una calidad similar con los pasteles mungyo ? Tengo una caja de 48 ya que Los sennelier son muy costosos, así prefiero trabajar con pasteles secos Rembrandt y lapices pastel faber Castell para los detalles... aún así espero poder hacer algo relevante con los grasos. Hermoso tu contenido, felicitaciones!

Muchas gracias! Los Mungyo son un poco más duros y hay que hacer un poco más de presión para difuminarlos, tampoco mucha y sí hace calor menos pero claro que se puede, están genial. Lo bueno que les veo es que se les puede "sacar punta" con un cúter y la mantienen bastante bien.

I am sorry for the question. Do you wet your pastels before using them ? And clean them whenever you swap colours?

Feel free to ask🙂 I’ve never wet them and since they are oily I don’t think it would work or do well but I wipe them all the time on a paper towel since they get contaminated so quickly
