What pen is it ? It is not a normal pencil right?

Thank you. I used a spray fixative on the graphite (outdoors). I was able to add the Neocolor with zero smudging of the graphite.

I have a couple of Sennelier pastel sticks. The only thing I didn't like about them and they were kind of annoying was the paper wrap was a little too big for the pastel stick and the pastel stick keeps sliding up the paper sleeve and then you have to push the pastel stick back down.

Yes PLEASE do. You are so talented. Thanks for sharing your work, Im finding an interest in oils and had no idea that I could use oil pastels to get this look. I thought I had to use oil paints. Im learning so much.

Damn! So realistic! It's really possible achieve photo realistic drawings with oil pastel? I thought we can do it only in watercolor, colour pencil or in sketching but you made me wrong. It's a expensive paper and oil pastel? For small details you use colour pencil? Please tutorial videos and tell us your secrets 🙏🏻

hi! how precious! you are so talented!!! such a beautiful image. one question please: what kind of pencil sharpener do you use to sharpen these? thanks!
@YolandaBlazquez12 күн бұрын
Thank you so much! ❤ It’s one of those sharpeners that have two holes, one for standard sized pencils/colored pencils and a bigger one. I use the larger one for Neocolor. It also has a deposit. The brand is Faber Castell but many others have similar ones.

I had a "rough - landing" when I was introduced to Sennelier, again, this time, with a rumbunteous guy from PAKISTAN, but, when I saw "YOU", I immediately fell in love with the softness of your voice, and the techniques....now, I can make some nice works with these SENNELIER OIL PASTELS!!! Like, Where have I been??? --- thanks, CLEO

I had bought Sennelier pieces of oil pastels when I was painting Oil on canvas, and what I like about them is the "oily"/"buttery" feel of the specimen, or art material!!! I think I can work it out with Venetian Turpentine! TFS

This is moh like it! Instead of that 3rd world geek!!! This is what I have been looking for, 'coz I just bought a SENNELIER OIL PASTEL box worth 130 euros!!! TFS

There are pigment and lightfastness charts for the Paul Ruben’s oil pastels.
@3243_Ай бұрын
re: the faded Sennelier coral--it appears that extra-pale colors might be prone to fading, just because such colors are mostly white and a small amount of at least one colored pigment. Some pigments possess good lightfastness when they are not heavily diluted in mixtures, but become less lightfast when mixed heavily with other pigments and/or mediums.

Pregunta, se podrían utilizar lapices para los detalles? Sugerencia: quizá funcionen bien los pinceles de silicona para difuminar. Gracias, la empezaré a seguir

You should have also shown how to sharpen or how sharp the tips of the pastel, especially on how it was done on the eyes.
