Great video, nice job. Tight space thats for sure.

Thanks. Yep tight space but once you remove the wiper motor it’s not bad.

There is a check valve right alongside that oil pressure sending unit that's vacuum for your cruise control and the EVAP....also one end of the vacuum goes through the firewall for your HVAC...............right under that brake booster you should have a t to plug that into.....

I believe I’m having a problem with mine. You said you were going to post if the pressure came down from 80. That’s where mine is now. Sometimes it does come down but it jumps around and goes back to 80.
@Mikes84Corvette2 жыл бұрын
Mines still at 80. I bought another one to see if the first one is bad. I have yet to install it.

@@Mikes84Corvette Yeah, it’s very odd. Every so often, I’ll be driving and it will drop to 55-60 and keep flip flopping around then go back to 80. I have a new one to install but after watching your video, makes me wonder. Let me know what happens if you would.

@@lancebrantlinger-tommy3558 I've been doing some reading about this and everything points to either a bad sender or the connection to the sender is bad or not fully seated. One test is to unplug the sender connection and see what the oil pressure reading is. I'm going to try that. I should make another video too.

@@Mikes84Corvette That would be great! At least this is something that doesn’t effect the drivability of the car.

is it really necessary to remove the wiper motor? I am struggling to remove the electric plug on top of the wiper motor, it wont come out, possibly the connectors rusted on ? i dont want to force it and break something....
@Mikes84Corvette9 ай бұрын
I suppose if you can’t get that plug out you might be able to at least move the motor out of the way somewhat. Makes the job easier
