I was doing a transmission flush using transmission's pump itself - one of the tubes came off and sprayed lots of ATF all over the engine bay - that was a fun clean up!

floor dry. The kitty litter style stuff. Made of clay, easily cleans up nuclear size oil spills like that one 😉

Oh man, I hate when that happens!

I had a big cleanup job just like that, i used a squeegee and a duat pan, scouped it all into a 5 gal bucket. That way i didnt waste so many towels/rags.
@robertmccully27924 ай бұрын
I did not think of that, good idea.

It's not a good idea to use the same tank for oil and radiator fluid. What happens is that radiator fluid becomes acidic over a long period of time. Even after emptying the tank, some radiator fluids remain suspended in the oil and will slowly eat away at the inside of the tank.

Yeah i agree, but i do not want 3 separate tanks. It lasted 16 years.

@@robertmccully2792 😄 I had bought two with the intent to use one just for radiator fluid. It lasted like a day and I started using them both for everything.

Best to keep some cat litter or saw dust on hand just in case of a spillage

Yea,, but i did not,, hard to prepare for everything.

An 18lb bag of floor dry is 20 bucks.

And you can reuse it over and over until it's used up.
