Thanks Tony! This was very informative. I have an oil tank in my basement and I want to relocate the fill & vent pipes. Is there a limit to how far I can relocate them? the tank currently sits at the back corner of the basement the fill & vent pipe are plumbed out the back wall. I want to relocate them to the front of the house which is about 23' away from the oil tank. Will that pose any problems?
