Worked the rigs In North Dakota from 2012 -2015. Seen a guy lose a hand, a chain pop off a binder knocked all the guys teeth out, and sadly witnessed a man get burnt alive in an 18th wheeler crash. Hard work and no family time

I'd argue more family time than the guys out doing 5 12s a week every single week out of the month and making a quarter of the pay rather than getting those sweet sweet 2 weeks off.
