Another, 'it's the dumb jury' peddler. How about this. Maybe members fo the jury had been through getting stopped all the time for no reason by the LAPD. Had friends and family beaten or killed by cops. Know people that had been framed, set up in stings or straight up had evidence planted on them. Knew people in jails for 'looking like' a purported criminal, or being placed at a scene of a crime. Instilling doubt in their minds (especially when Furhmen on the tapes admits to framing black men especially the ones with white women) really was not a reach. That concept may have shocked white America for whom the police force is mainly a positive institution of protection but for other non-white citizens, this is not their experience of the police. It had nothing to do with not understanding complex things but simply doubting the LAPD outside of grandslam evidence like this is the weapon and here is a witness who saw him there and with it.

This was such a stupid move by the prosecution for several reasons. 1. Given that OJ had arthritis and took medications for it, it’s possible the size of his hand wasn’t even the same several months later. There are theories that he stopped taking his medication at times for this reason. 2. Even though the defense pretty much debunked blood shrinkage, it was still frozen and unfrozen which could affect the size. 3. He was wearing Latex gloves under the gloves. 4. The most insane part: you are allowing the defendant to directly handle a piece of evidence to try and prove his guilt. That is insane on its face. Of course he’s going to do his best to make it look bad. They should’ve gotten someone to fit the gloves onto him. 5. Why the absolute hell would you do this in front of a jury first? That shows an insane level of arrogance. Make this request while the jury is not in the courtroom first. 6. The biggest problem is that the prosecution is the one that did this. If the defense did this, they could use all the above reasons to make it seem irrelevant. But because they did this, they just introduced an aspect of the case that now the defense can fully lean into and the prosecution has to give the above reasoning why their own demonstration didn’t work. A demonstration like this is very objectionable, the fact that the defense just let them do it should’ve been the first sign that they were making a mistake. 7. Even if it doesn’t affect the jury that much, you have just given them a visual to remember your entire case by.

A lot of things speak for Simpsons guilty, but the doubts are just as big on the other side. It's incomprehensible to me that OJ doesn't have a scratch or hematoma and not much more blood from the victims was found in his car or house. That he had so little time to drive home and get ready for the flight to Chicago. That neither Kato, nor the limo driver, nor the airline employee nor the hotel recepcionist in chicago noticed a cut in his finger. Also that the criminological work was sloppily done and some things actually suggest that evidence was implanted, like the drops of blood at the crime scene. I think the big mistake the police and state prosecutors made was relying only on the jealous ex-husband theory, that they did not investigate the sorroundingst of Mezzaluna more intensively. All of this let me believing that OJ had something to do with the murders (footprint), but that he was not the killer. Why is it assumed at advance that the main target was Nicole and not Ron? Maybe she was just unlucky to have come out at the wrong moment. I also read that a friend of Sydney wanted to stay overnight at the house, but she was picked up by her father beforehand because they had "other plans". It would be interesting to know if this father was also a regular of Mezzaluna and possibly knew what was going to happen that night. What an exciting case.

I have never understood the glove thing. First of all-No one denies the fact that whoever wore those gloves killed Ron and Nicole. So, just imagine you are actually innocent, but at trial are asked to try on the gloves. (Again, gloves worn by the person who killed the mother of your children.) Wouldnt there be some sort feeling of unease, or disgust, or a reluctance? Then, go ahead and throw in that the right glove was planted at your house to frame you for that murder...anything? My point is that OJ is smirking, almost smiling all through out this whole ordeal, and doesnt seem to give this a second thought when initially handed the glove-that is not proof of anything, just something I’ve thought of...an innocent person having to try on the gloves that had done allllll that. Also, I don’t understand why everyone thought the gloves didn’t fit. They did. The man had a layer of latex on. (The first layer of latex gloves was *also* hard to get on, by the way.) Just try putting two layers of latex gloves on the same hand sometime. It’s not easy. If you then factor in more than a years worth of being soaked in blood, it should be obvious to everyone that they aren’t gonna fit...different. The prosecution should only have asked OJ try on the NEW pair of those same gloves. Then, you could also compare them to the ones used in the murders, to show the obvious shrinkage. I was about 11 years old when this was goin on, and I knew then, based on how my batting glove for baseball needed stretched out after it got wet every now and then, that gloves shrink up pretty easily.

Glad to see some people with some sense. They've thought of every excuse in the book for any sign of OJ's innocence. First it was shrinkage, then I saw on the ESPN doc, it was not taking his arthritis medication. Gil Garcetti did an interview after that documentary aired (2016-17?) saying that was the first time he had ever heard of that theory... pretending like there was some legitimacy to it. Which is hilarious because that was a theory by the prosecution that was addressed by Cochran DURING THE TRIAL IN 1995. It amazes me that the masses don't see through the bullshit they present in the media about this case.

I was about 13 when this case was being trialed. The prosecutor hand over the case tot he defends. I can see how the jury found him not guilty.

Taking Ojs blood from where it was supposed to be placed into evidence was the biggest mistake of the hole case

I've read somewhere that OJ stopped taking his arthritis medicine 2 weeks before that stunt, so his hands would have been swollen....True or false, dunno!!

It isn’t true. Johnnie Cochran addressed this in court. The LA County Jail doctor confirmed OJ took his arthritis medicine every day. kzbin.info/www/bejne/imGWZXZ4bdVqiMk

@Kay you do realize its super easy to fake taking medication right? You could visibly tell his hands were swollen

Both prosecution and defense teams are guilty of too much attitude and ego and lack of professionalism. It's disturbing that this was allowed at all but then again Ito is guilty of the same. I see a group of people who believe they are special than most bc they are on TV doing their job. I suggest everyone google what else was happening in the world during the OJ trial.
