Hi man! I tried this decklist, but it seems too cloggy for me. I would like to suggest one that I personally came up with. Btw keep up with the amazing content! You're one of the few channels that actually cares to post decklists for "forgotten" decks. I've been playing ojama for quite a few years currently, so I tried all the various decklist you could build. Ojama abc, a to z fusion spam, pure country, pure country with armed dragons, delta hurricane going second ecc, but this one is the one that seems most consistent to me. Anyhow, decklist is a matter of personal choices, in the end I'm sure we all know ojamas aren't the most competitive deck out there, so let's just have fun with it ahah. First the decklist, then I'll explain the decisions I've made. I play: 1x ojama yellow 1x ojama black 1x ojama green 2x ojama blue 3x ojama red 2x zany zebra 3x ojama country 2x mystic mine 1x set rotation 3x obedience schooled 3x instant fusion 2x cattle call 1x polymerization 1x ojamagic 1x Monster Reborn 2x Merfae hide-and-seek 1x upstart goblin 3x called by the grave 3x super polymerization 3x evenly matched EXTRA 2x Ojama King 3x Ojama knight 1x Knightmare phoenix 2x Ojama emperor 1x Borrelsword 1x Mekk knight crusadia Avramax 1x Ronin Raccoon Sandayu 4x super poly targets (I prefer muddragon, starving venom, dragostapelia, and Earth golem ignister) -Explanation is in a comment below. So to start off, the reasoning behind the ratios. This is a going second build, so your goal, apart from wrecking havock on the opponent's board, is to be able to swarm your field consistently enough, and to end at least with ojama emperor + 1 fusion and the country. So what I hate the most is bricks. - First, i choose to run only one each of the original trio (ojama yellow, black and green) because they are one hell of a brick. We have multiple ways to access to ojama king, wich I'll later explain, so you don't need to see them this much. You only want to add them with ojamagic, or with ojama blue if you "fucked up" and already saw one of them in your opening hand. Running multiple copies will hurt the consistency a lot, and it isn't worth it, you don't want to draw into them, ever. -Ojama blue. This is one hell of a card. It is the main searcher of the deck, and though a bit slow, due to only working if destroyed by battle, you need at least 2 of him. Not only being another body summonable by ojama red, it helps you unclog your hand if you bricked, and if you already drew one, you still want to be able to summon him through one card that I'll explain later. You only need him if you lack one of your two main goals, them being having access to ojama country, or swarming the field (and so you proceed to add ojama red or ojamagic). For him to work, you want to summon him and run it into your opponent monsters, then proceed to add the 2 cards you're lacking, and summon him back from the graveyard with ojama country, so you have another body on the field. But suffering to Ash, D.D. Crow, and Droll, the three most used hand traps of this format, I prefer to run two of him and three of red, and not the opposite, since red can only loose via veiler, and at the end you still have your monster on board, wich for blue happens only if you "waste" your ojama country on him. -Red. Overall a great card, it lets you summon all the ojama's you have clogging your hand, and even if you happen to have only one, it's always a plus. - Zany zebra, the two "bricks". I run them because of obedience schooled. Let me explain. I played the armed dragon-ojamatch versions, but I really consider them too much of a brick. Armed dragon is the wrong type AND the wrong level to synergize with the deck, and ojamatch is a dead draw if you see it at any given time after you already activated one since you only have one armed dragon in your deck. It will force you to run at least another copy of it, and you don't want it, trust me. Whilst even if you see zebra in your opening hand, it is not a brick, because it can be placed in the pendulum zone, to block one additional monster zone of your opponent. In either way, it counts as level 2 beast monsters, so it synergizes well with all the other cards in the deck (merfae hide and seek, or most importantly you can use it to summon emperor, Ronin Raccoon ecc), compared to armed dragon that doesn't. You need 2 cause if you see one, you still want to resolve obedience. -Obedience schooled. You NEED to run 3 copies of this card. Because your main goal is to swarm your field so you can make emperor consistently, by one way or another, and this card is a great way to do so. You need 3 because you want to see it in your opening hand, you can only resolve it if you control no monsters. - Ojama country is one of the key cards of the deck. It allows you to discard non useful cards in your hand, to summon back your fusions or emperor that might have ended in the gy. Plus, it switches attack and defense af all monsters on the field if there's an ojama, wich can be pretty funny sometimes, but mostly, it works with the effect of ojama emperor. You always want to see it, that's why you run 3 copies, terraforming, set rotation, and ojama blue. For additional field spells I run mystic mine. I believe it's the strongest one out there. If you draw it, it prompts a negation out of your opponent, and if passed unnoticed, it helps you gather your resources while stalling them. I play 2 copies because you always want to resolve set rotation to have access to country, so if you even draw one mine, none of them is a brick, and you can still activate set rot. - upstart goblin. Consistency. It lets you play 39 cards, and so have access to your combo pieces a lot faster. - I play one polymerization. It's useful because if you see it you can always use it to summon ojama knight, and if you happen to have access to ojama blue, or ojamagic (in addition to ojama country), you can search the 3 normal ojamas and summon ojama king "legally". But the latter scenario is situational, and regarding the first one, there are better cards to run over this, so this is why you only run one copy. -Instant fusion. mvp of the deck, altogether with the next card. It lets you special summon knight from the extra deck basically for free, so it gives you another body on board. You don't worry about knight being destroyed during the end, because you will use it (and 2 other beast monsters) to summon emperor, then you will bring it back with emperor's effect. -Cattle Call. What a surprise of a card. It lets you cheese out ojama king out of the extra deck. If you happen to control any beast monster, you can activate it, send the monster to the gy, and it special summons ojama king from the extra. Then you can use king (and two beast monsters) to special summon emperor, then use emperor's effect to bring back ojama king. And voila', ojama king on board without the use of the normal ojamas or polymerization. - monster reborn. What to say, you need bodies on board, and it lets you bring back emperor/a fusion if you find yourself in need. - Merfae hide-and-seek. A fantastic card overall. It protects your beasties from destruction, wich is cool, but most importantly it allows you to recicle your resources. Once per turn it lets you shuffle 3 beasts from your gy in your deck, and then draw a card. So it's a boost in consistency, recovery, and draw power. Unfortunately it hasn't come out yet. For the time being, until it comes out, I will substitute it with one pot of avarice, and one additional lvl2 beast to resolve obedience schooled, maybe valerifawn. - 3 called by the grave. What to say, this deck suffers from hand traps, so you absolutely need them, otherwise you risk to not be able to summon emperor. Plus, it's an interruption for your opponent if you don't use it and set it. - super poly. Being a going second deck, you need it to break your opponent's board. And sometimes you can find yourself using it to summon ojama knight legally, during your opponent's turn, locking him two zones. I run it because I am a budget player, but if you happen to have lighting storm available for you, run it instead of this. It doesn't even conflict with obedience schooled, leaving you with no monsters. - evenly matched. You need to disassemble your opponent's board before you try to create your own. EXTRA Other than 3 knights, 2 Kings and 2 emperors, extra is up to personal likings. I recommend playing at least one Ronin Raccoon since it helps a lot with otks, and you can recicle it with merfae hide and seek, if after activating it's effect you use it for link summoning emperor. The only change I maybe would make is find some space for ultra polymerization, because summoning back the fusion materials you used is huge. But as now I don't personally like it because 1) paying 2000lp is a big deal since you already cut your life with instant fusion and ojama blue as a searcher, and 2) most importantly, it doesn't work well with Zany Zebra, since the ojama's fusions require ojama only monsters. That's why I'm preferring cattle call over it.

@@nicolascavaliere7212 Ok so, I have read your entire decklist + reasoning for card choices and I do still have some questions. So, about Ojama Blue, I am not really sure how it loses to D.D. Crow, unless you are talking about the interaction afterwards with Ojama Country. Though it definitely does not lose to Ash or Droll, as these cards are not able to activate during the End of the Damage Step, in which Ojama Blue resolves. So idk if the argument of playing 3 could be made in theory. Then, you were talking about Ojamatch and how it can only be used once as you'd need more copies of Armed Dragons in your deck. I mean, I myself have not tested the deck enough to were I can argue against anything of what you're saying, but all you'd need to do is to get him to the GY and then you could very well use it again, right? Of course drawing the Dragon in your opener surely would suck when also having Ojamatch in your hand and not being able to get him into the GY, but other than that I don't see it being much of a problem, unless we are looking at cards like D.D. Crow or Called by the Grave at this point. Overall though, looking at most of your card-choices, I totally agree with your decisions and I do like your deck build. And honestly, thanks for your insight on your view on the deck. Because I think for those who did read it, it surely also helps them to see a different perspective on the deck and how they could choose to play it in a different way.

I know it's a little long, so it means a lot, I put some effort in it ahah Regarding ojama blue, yes, I'm talking about the interaction that it has afterwards with ojama country, so it loses the same to called by the grave for example. Droll is relevant only if activated before ojama blue of course, and I didn't consider the fact that Ash couldn't have been used in the damage, so you're right, thanks for spotting it out man. Of course you could play 3 of it. I personally like it as a card, and usually I always played 3 copies of him, and 2-3 of red, but in recent times I grew to like it more this way. But of course, it's a valid card that you could play at 3, maybe cutting off one red. The problem with armed dragon is the way to put it into the graveyard after you added it. In a non pure version, so without obedience schooled and all the other stuff, it is not a problem, since you don't rely only on emperor and the fusions, but on a variety of other links and extra deck monsters. But still, if you're not playing some sort of card that requires you to discard a random card (since the ojama cards require to discard ojama cards) you have to waste a summon on him, and in my opinion it isn't worth it. But of course, you can experiment with it, this is the way I feel most comfortable playing them. For example I tried with ojama pajama, the continuous trap, as it requires to discard a random card, but in general it is too slow, being a trap, and it works well in mid and late game. Whilst this particular build i made doesn't try to stall too much in games, so there are better cards to play instead.

One field spell i learned works pretty well with Ojamaparty is fusion gate, it allows a consistent source to fuse ojamas while working with Party's banish recovery. It does take up a slot for when you wanna play country though.

I wish Ojama Emperor cannot be destroyed by battle (even when Ojama Country is not on field) as well because your opponent can just get around the 2nd effect by attacking with their lowest ATK monster. Smh. Also, the 2nd effect should be "Your opponent takes any battle damage you would have taken from attacks on "Ojama" monsters instead".....Thus, actually protecting your Ojama monsters in case Ojama Country leaves the field OR simply summon as many Ojama monsters and crash into a high ATK monster your opponent controls. Konami always find a way to mess up on a support for an older archetype. Ok, this is more of a rant, but I find it ridiculous that why can't Konami just say something along the lines of "Ojama Country cannot be destroyed by card effect if this card is on the field" or "When an Ojama card on the field would be destroyed by card effects, discard 1 card instead". Other archetypes have ways to protect their field spells, but Ojama have 0 support that does that.........I'm pretty sure that's not gonna make Ojama a Tier 1 deck. lol

Camron G It’s even sadder to think that you think the format with less cards is more diverse lol. TCG is the most diverse format currently, but you don’t play the game outside of casuals so the second you get beat by two people with the same deck archetype, you think everyone plays the same deck lol

Well, you're (all) already play the deck wrong the moment you decide to play ojama. Because the only way to play ojama is to not play it. Joking aside, Ojama doesn't have that many support, so they usually hard to build right (or even to play right)
