Second story: "The dog said" usually comes up to be the owners opinion in disguise. But in this case it is possible. Not extremely likely but possible. OP said herself that the dog was behaving weird and some pets show incredible intelligence. For an animal. The owner may or may not have purposefully misinterpreted his dogs actions to slip in his own opinions. But what happened after is purely disgusting. Calling OP out on "toxic behavior" and to "get rid of insecurities". OP should run far away from him. He showed the first and very clear sign of what treatment she could expect as his wife. In my opinion OP should get rid of insecurities as well. Its designation is "Michael".

The 2nd one, I think Michael is insecure himself. Because whenever his dog acts a certain way towards someone new, he jumps to conclusion of the person being "ugly" while knowing that his dog doesn't do that to him. It's like he's using the dog as an excuse for his self projection to mask his insecurity and he knows it.

The truth is he's the one who's more selfish because he never wants to pay for dinner, and his friends are no better. 4:26: This is a complicated one. I believe a person gets a dog because a dog can sniff out "undesirables" (such as evil). If I were Michael, I would have apologized for my dog's behavior, and simply left it at that. Hello people that exist. First story: If this was me I would’ve been like “you told me that you didn’t want to share finances and that you were going to pay. And isn’t it childish for tricking me to pay for you because you don’t want to pay for your own food?” And what is “you left me with a bill I couldn’t pay.” Honey, if you couldn’t pay for your own food then why did you order it!? And it’s kind of funny that he’s like “yeah, but you’ve got 30% remember? But what about that 30%?” Okay two things, first of all she’s not your bank, and second of all at some point that 30% will run out until her next paycheck. It’s not unlimited cash. Gosh. I think it’s funny though that he was like “No, I don’t want to spend my money, just spend all yours. Oh you won’t do that? Well your selfish and childish.” Like, she got that 30% because she earned it. You didn’t. If you want 30%, go earn it. Stop trying to make other people pay for you. 2. Ummmmmmm...... There are so many problems with this. First of all, a dog doesn’t know what ugly is, they can’t speak English. Second of all..... wtf. Joke or not, why would you want to do something like this? When he woke up was he like “Hey! I got a great idea. I’ll ask my girlfriend to make dinner FOR me at MY house and when she decides to be VERY GENEROUS and do that for me I’ll tell her that my dog thinks she’s ugly. Yeah, That’s a great idea!” Like huh? Third of all, if someone is telling you to get rid of your “toxic sensitivity” then they are probably toxic. Fourth of all, why is he siding with the dog.
