The 2nd story reminds me of something that happened to a friend of mine in elementary school. He had a prosthetic arm and the new teacher didn't believe that he had a prosthetic but it was just a toy. She basically forced him to remove it and prove it was a prosthetic. He was forced to remove it and show his stub (to the entire class and teacher). It was humiliating for him. It happened over 30 yrs ago but still angers me as a person who also wears a prosthetic. It's just awful.

First story: she can disrespect right to divorce court. Second story: the teacher needs to learn what disrespectful is. Third story: somebody needs to tell him he can't take it with him.
@umasvlogsanddisabilityreso93772 жыл бұрын
First story: That’s absolute bullcrap. You don’t make the spouse’s family feel less purposeful by making them pay for a cookout like tickets are required to be part of it. Do a potluck where everyone contributes to the meal at most like jeez. Second story: That teacher should not have said a word about the student’s face or hair. It’s really no one’s business. The person’s scarring on their face makes them insecure enough, which is why they cover it with bangs. You don’t go around making comments about people’s looks, especially not to their face. I sorta agree with the head teacher that they should have just told them, but maybe the sub shouldn’t have humiliated them in front of the whole class making fun of their hair. Third story: My dad’s not much of a money spender /gift giver and spends more on needs than wants (as he should). He definitely gets us the occasional concert tickets, musical tickets, nice holiday gifts based on our interests, etc. But this husband takes it to the next level by not making exceptions to get someone something nice twice a year like for Christmas/Hanukkah/etc or birthdays. Maybe Jeremy could’ve kept his mouth shut or pretend he liked it. Chris works TWO Jobs and even if he made that wall piece himself and with his friends, the materials probably cost some money depending on what they used. With 2 jobs, he’s earning twice what he should be because he’s going straight into the workforce before college. That alone lets him save LOTS of money that he can spend half on school tuition and stuff and use scholarships and stuff for the rest.

I don't think he'd be invested in any relationship, if he views others as means to a profitable end. Usually I think people are overreacting when they call for divorce on these kinds of stories, but here I think it's warranted, the guy's only gonna cause problems in the future.

1st Story: It was wrong of the husband to charge his in-laws (people from the wife's family). The wife did the right thing when she took the money and gave it back to everyone who paid. The wife should divorce him. 2nd Story: Both the new teacher and head teacher are in the wrong. The student didn't do anything wrong. 3rd Story: The wife should divorce her husband. The husband is a jerk/a**hole. The husband cares more about money than his wife and her son. The son (Chris) didn't embarass the husband at all. The son was right when he said that the husband refuses to buy the wife nice things that she deserves. The son was also right when he said it's none of the husband's business what he does with his money.

Asked why and her reply was “Because people can’t pay attention with your hair out like that.” I didn’t even want to present anymore but I did it with my hair out and I put it up after I was done. I came home my mom was mad because my fro took forever to perfect and when I told her what happened she was PISSED 😡! She went up to the school and cussed everybody out she then made the teacher apologize to me and write me a letter explaining why it’s inappropriate to tell a kid what to do with their hair, she made sure to make her include rascism and discrimination and how in many forms it can be used. The student had been attending that school since she was 5 years old. So, they were probably all used to it and she wouldn't normally need any special accommodation. No one could have predicted that the teacher would call her out in front of class over her bangs. The teacher could have called her up in front while the other students were working on an assignment or before a break for lunch/recess etc. At that time the teacher could have made the request about her bangs and the student could have explained the situation to the teacher. It was humiliating for the student to have to pull back her bangs and show everyone her scars. Hopefully the teacher will use better judgment in the future but it doesn't sound like it.

That last one reminds me of my dad so much. Like, he earns a very decent amount, even for a 6 person family. Sure ok we don't usually have savings left and my mom's spending and thr car being in service most of the time have been putting us in dept lately What's to know about mom is, that she's been a stay at home mom as long as I can remember and she never got any pocket money besides when she had to ask my dad for money for groceries (they don't have a shared account cuz mom's reckless with money, when she had dad's info to get into his account thousands of euros went missing on parties ect just in a few months) But also as long as I can remember, my dad almost never got anything for my mom's bday. She has started working despite a recent injury that makes it hard for her to walk and she's already weak cuz of her food allergies (what is it when you can't tolerate what's in bread and all that stuff again?) and there's barely anything she can eat because of tight budget, especially with my 3 picky eater siblings. She goes to kid's parties as a clown to facepaint, she cleans apartments despite being in pain, and makes cakes. The cakes part annoys me cuz I'm always expected to help then just get yelled at but I mean, it's the least I can do for her so I do it, but what irks me more is that my dad expects to have some of the money my mom earned cuz "the ingridients were from his money" She works so she can pay off her depts (since obviously my dad has had enough of that, and I can understand that he won't pay them anymore, I agree that my mom needs a lesson on spending and saving ect) But despite that, she always just wanted to get us stuff. Our dad also always complains about price, and how if mom wasn't such a spender he could get us nicer gifts ect ect, to some extent I can understand cuz mom sometimes still buys useless things But she always tried to give us a lil birthday, cooked a bunch of stuff (with lil ol me helping like the great chef I am😎), even for dad ect, and she never got anything. Our dad never got her literally anything, never brought her to one single kfc (she likes it cuz it tastes good and she doesn't feel like dying after eating), never got her any lil thing, sometimes we kids have to remind him to at least buy her flowers cuz she likes those. And us kids can't really buy anything as we don't get any pocket money, sure I'm the oldest with almost being 18 but being in a caretaker school which makes me work for free two days a week I can't even get a job. Well, sure, because mom values her reputation with her friends she overspends, parties, alcohol, has cigarette addiction, but you could get your fucking wife something nice, buying a lil something like a jewelry box won't do you any harm. Bitch, at least take her out on a picnic or something. I know my mom isn't the best mom, even to the point she admitted it herself, she's way too strict and unaccapting of most things, she can be cruel and narrow minded, a huge narcississt too, but everyone deserves something to celebrate their birthday. Besides, if we don't give out presents for being jerks or whatever you do with mom, don't exept even an apple pie for your next bday🤭

Last story. Only AH is your husband. Sure everyone has different thoughts on saving and spending. My dad seems very similar to this guy. He always has to know how much everything costs, how much are you making, what your house worth, what’s the mortgage. It’s annoying and rude. And after spending years living with him, I’m sure your son has been patient enough and ignored similar comments too many times in the past. Sometime people need to be embarrassed or put in their place. I’m not saying you guys won’t work out or that. But spending/savings habits are apart of people values and all too often people get married because of they make each other laugh and have similar interest, like hiking or sailing. And they ignore the core values of each other and often times those relationships don’t last.

The wife should start asking the husband money for whatever she does because he obviously doesn't want a wife but a live-in cleaning lady, class escort, prostitute, cook, clothes assistant, majordomo, nurse and, in the future, rented uterus and babysitter. Well, those are things that cost, and they cost more when it's live-in. If he doesn't consider her family she shouldn't either. second story. The kid was right, end of it. Had the teacher asked she (was it a girl? can't remember) could have just explained the situation, but the way he put it that was the only thing to do. Third story. The kid was right. He could have handled it better but he was still right (like he didn't need to say that the husband never bought anything nice for her). The husband handled it quite well actually (he didn't make a scene like it often happens even if he felt disrespected). Here's a hint: if you feel offended because someone says things how they are, maybe you should change how things are.

So… why are people marrying people they clearly barely know? Divorce rates would be lower if you just, y’know… didn’t
