Hey Justin, for your own interest google Sharpies Australia. Sharpies were an Australian thing around the same time as the UK punk but very different, had their variation on mullet haircuts, tight high wasted jeans and tight t shirts tucked in, very odd but cool dancing. They loved their loud music, the king was Lobby Loyde, as an AC/DC fan you're probably familiar with him. Actually if you watch a lot of early AC/DC footage there are little clumps of Sharpies in the crowd doing their stompy dancing, Rose Tattoo, Billy Thorpe, all that great Aussie rock. Amyl And The Sniffers have a fair bit of Sharpie about em, but without the violence

During our 'preparation' a couple of the guys started getting wound up. What's wrong I asked. Were going to give that Chrissy Amphlett shit they said. I had no idea what they were talking about. You should check out Front End Loader, one of Australia’s finest. Unique, energetic, tight, melodic, 2 guitar assault and 2 part vocal harmonies.So many great tracks going back to the 90s. Bring it On.

Can you please do a reaction video on a band called JINJER, I think you would appreciate this woman's vocal capabilities, and also the band as a whole are amazing. Thankyou.
@digitaldogs2332 жыл бұрын
Yes!!!!!!!! I think it would be cool also since they are a Ukraine band. But politics aside Tatiana has one hell of a growl for a female, and she can actually sing to, and the band live are amazing. Even though they've been around for awhile and near all of the band aren't the original members this line up imo has transformed this band into something amazing. I get a KITTY vibe from them if you've heard KITTY, but a much better version, even though KITTY rocked. I've also noticed JINJER are becoming more well known the last year or so, especially after their live gig in Moscow in 2021. There album Wallflowers and the track Vortex really shows her vocal capabilities. I sure hope he reads you're comment and does a reaction video of them, because they are something special, and all heavy metal fans should hear JINJER

Omg JINJER fan's!!!! Yes yes yes, they are amazing. Best metal band in 2014 i believe. Omg this has to happen, and i have the album wallflowers and every track is just amazing. She's into reggae to and some songs have that vibe. If Justin doesnt review them i will hunt him down lol jk jk, but seriously if you're into real heavy metal and haven't heard this band you are in for a treat! And she's pretty cute to lol.
@digitaldogs2332 жыл бұрын
@@spudwifi5042 Not sure about going that far and actually hunting Justin down lol, but i get what you mean. I've always admired Justin's vocals so just as that alone makes me think he would appreciate how she sings. Not sure if he's into that kind of metal though, but she's one of those screamers that you can actually make out what she's saying, and in interviews she says that's most important to her because she's a pretty deep writer.
@71771PAULTHEWALLOFSOUND2 жыл бұрын
@@spudwifi5042 wow more Jinjer fans lol, and i have wallflowers to, I've got a few of there albums and they all are good, Macro is my favourite And cloud factory, but they are all good. But i think they truly shine live, she has so much energy and really gets into it. And live you can really appreciate her control between clean vocals and scream, some females singers can do it, but none have compared to her range in sound imo.
@shayna36262 жыл бұрын
The reggea track i think you're referring to is called Judgment and Punishment. And tbh i dont think Justin would get it. I watched them in Melbourne Australia and she is indeed one of the best vocalist in that genre I've heard. Justin seems to like "safe" music, hard-core Djent is not safe. He would hear her and say "but its just noise" I doubt he would appreciate it for what it is. I very much doubt in his record collection you would find any thrash or modern djent. I could be wrong and kinda hope i am. Everyone I've played Jinjer to has been blown away by not only her voice, but the backing group, especially as you mentioned there the only djent group that has incorporated ragge so well in some tracks, and some are very subtle like the track Noah. But no, our English man Justin would not understand why we love this music, it's not just noise, there's real meaning to her lyrics. But i would hope he would give them a listen, because i doubt he has heard anything like jinjer especially when she sings in her native tongue wich you rightly said is Ukrainian. It's funny because most think they are Russian lol.

Absolutely loved this review J. I think the power of AATS is that they don't try to overreach - they work with what they have unbelievably well and the push boudaries internally - she the only singer I've heard that sounds even better when out of key and she know it and doesn't care and it ROCKS! "I'm short, I'm shy, I'm fucked up! I'm bloody ugly!" - 'Freaks To The Front'. But their real strength I feel is their live performances. They are so fucking tight live and it makes the crowd loopy with all that excess raucous energy! It feels like such a long time since we've heard a band that hasn't been a result of management and publicists, who have dragged themselves from the local community centres and pub, into a limelight they deserve - and you can justtell they're loving every minute of it. They may have naysayers but as Amy sneers, "If they don't like you as you are, just ignore the cunts!" and "Everybody in this room deserves to have fun!" A-fucken'-men! \m/

They're kind of old news, in some ways, but I'd like to see your take on King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, and their insane output of new music, and their evolving sound. I think they're averaging about 3 full length albums a year while touring. It defies comprehension.
