Okay, I'm only at the part where Hollow opened the chest in that first house, and in the note on the door the mystery gentleman told Batu to go to the house where the womans body was kept, then said not to be afraid of "my" dog; obviously my refers to the note writer, so it can only be logical to assume that he, in fact, is the husband who murdered his wife.. which leads to way more questions than answers, but that's an interesting bit of lore without a doubt. 😅

So great hearing Turkish language in a videogame, very unusual for some reason.

I don't quite understand who the player character is. Is he someone related to the village, because why would he need to go there otherwise? He suffered from the nightmares in the background story, so maybe he was a small child in the village, too small to remember before moving out. But the cursed village wanted him back. So, he's stuck in a time loop torture by the curse/demons/ghosts, forced to watch himself arrive at the village, wander in vain, trying to do different things as adviced by himself via the notes, as he can't see nor hear the version of himself stuck in the time loop. It would actually have been cool if the player character had been the injured boy (now grown up), who gained back his ability to walk through the unholy ceremony by the sorcerer. That would explain why the village would want him back.

The kid didn't have a kid's voice if you noticed and it's the same voice in the tape so maybe you're right, but that wouldn't make him stuck for only 2 years? Or maybe you're also right about the chronological order , he left then came back as the village wants him, the stuck version of him is there too trying to scare him yet he still gets in to follow his own notes with 2 or many more separate consciousnesses while you take control of the one thinking he just got in trying to escape , and yes he's being tortured by this loop, he literally said they want him to see what happened to him again and again which is maybe for him to submit to the devil since the sorcerer is the one who helped him and not Allah. Anyways interesting kind of narrative

It depends on the person. & in a different scenario, if you're dining in while watching Hollow, then the foods you eat will choke you due to the laughter of Hollow's scared reaction.
