Why the big push to get a TE? Don't we have 3 guys that have been on the team at least one year? Why are they here if we're not going to play them? When are we going to find out if they're worth keeping? We're paring the roster down, why bring in an unknown quantity and leave the existing 3-4 guys on the bench?

This is not a good receiver, stop it. All the receivers we have recruited are ranked 35, 36, and 39. We are always getting the leftovers and you guys are always trying to make them a great receiver, not. Quit it. We can't get the top receivers for the last 3yrs and going on 4. Terrible.

@bastiat9049 We haven't had any 5 star receivers since Lincoln was here. And every single receiver Venebles has recruited hasn't done sh.except 1 or 2.( Don't mention the portal) Theo Wease(5 star) instantly played better when he transfered to Missouri. So did Hazelwood (5 star) when he transferred to Arkansas. But they didn't play like that when they played for Venebles. You sitting here asking me a silly question and arguing about a 35, 36 and 39 ranked receiver as if you're making a good point. Every receiver that played this year in place of all the receivers that were hurt played terrible. And these are the receivers that Venebles recruited. These are the same type that are ranked in the 30s or even 60s and were basically the last receivers left and that no one really wanted. These are exactly the receivers we are getting this year from the portal. We have been doing this for 3 years going on for 4. So yes I would want some 5 star receivers like Ohio State. Silly. Don't downgrade our program and lower our standards. Ridiculous.

As far as having better seasons you’re trying to compare RS Jr or Senior years to sophomore and freshman years? Not comparable. The top 4 stars Venables brought in were more productive when healthy than the 5 stars were here even under Riley.

You're are absolutely silly to sit here after 3 yrs. with Venebles receivers and after seeing the outcome, try to even say anything worthy about how our recruiting has went to the bottom as far as recruiting receivers. They are terrible. Not one receiver is a stud . Stop trying to make these low 3 stars receivers epic. You really think you said something? You have no leverage to even counter what I said about the receivers that nobody wanted that we are getting. You are settling for crumbs. And I bet you if a receiver that's ranked 125 commits to Oklahoma, your ridiculous in denial self would say that he is a great receiver just because he committed to us. Not. Because if you are that just shows you how bad our receivers were before the the ones from the transport portal came because when they did come they immediately started and was the best receiver on the team showing how bad our receivers that Brent recruited were. Not one receiver that Brent has recruited been consistent or great, maybe a couple if that. All the evidence for the last 3 years going on 4 is my proof. The evidence is there. You can't counter the great points I made about the terrible receiver recruiting classes which has went down since Venebles came here. You're in denial and digging hard and can't find or make a logical positive point about these receivers that the top schools didn't want. We want receivers like Ohio State and others. You don't. You are settling for crumbs. Don't argue about the greatness we expect from Oklahoma (real Sooners). Ridiculous again.
