I just saw this review of yours and here is a bit from me too :) I recently started using this litter (without reading any reviews) prior to this I had used Clay prior for a cpl of yrs, then tried FRESHNEWS paper pellet litter. The freshnews pellets are horrible - I think any pellet would be as you cant sift out the good from the used, and like your review on paper pellets, you can NOT tell what has been urinated on. I will never use pellet litter of any kind again. Clay litter gives one of my cats infections in his paws as it sticks to the hair around the pads and can infect just from a little scratch on a pad so I am very thankful to have tried this Okocat Super Soft litter. It is fantastic just as your reviews pro's stated however I do not have any dust issues and the tracking isnt as bad as yours either. I do clean the floor (just the little area outside of the box) and litter twice a day, always have, its just a habit. I have a little mat that catches most of it and I dont have any of it ever tracked throughout my small apartment, none on clothing, or in the dryer. I have 2 cats btw and would highly recommend this litter!! Its so soft to the touch, NO smell of urine or poop at all, just the smell of sawdust, which I like :) Plus it does last for a long time in comparison to clay. Clumps absolutely perfect! LOVE LOVE LOVE it :) Thanks for your reviews btw, I have really enjoyed and learnt from them.

Hi - I'm hoping that I might have the same results as you've described here. I am fed up with these clay litters and the awful dust! I'm desperate to find an alternative. This one seems like it might be what I have been searching for. I have my "Boys," Tabby brothers - and I don't mind at all keeping their "Sand box" meticulously clean...I'm just hoping this dust problem can be solved. Thanks for your comment...

Yeah, I've been using Okocat for my cat for several years now because I don't like the weight and waste of bentonite clay and the sickly perfumes that come with it. I more recently switched to the finer "soft" version of Okocat. I'm not sure whether the "soft" tracks any more or less than original formula, but at least the pieces aren't agonizing to step on. The linoleum around my the litter box only needs to be vacuumed once a week to keep loose particles under control. You're bang on when you point out how long this stuff lasts. I like that it's compostable and flushable. Dust is definitely raised when I shake the box, but I don't have any allergies or weird sensitivities. It does clump well. I wouldn't say it does a great job containing poo odours. There are times when I come home and the entire house is pervaded with an eye-watering miasma that needs to be aired out. Then again, my cat produces some exceptionally foul turds when she's having an off day. Okocat is good value for the money spent. Recently they switched away from heavy duty cardboard box packaging to lightweight paper bag packaging.

Love the super soft Oko-Cat litter! I keep a good hand vac next to my litter boxes (2) that’s so easy to use to get any tracking from the litter. If I do this once a day it keeps it from getting all over my townhome. No smell, little dust, and soft on my boys’ paws. Clumps very well too and the bags of litter are so much lighter than clay. Yes, it does track. But just keep a hand vac (I have a Black & Decker) close by. It does the trick. I’m honestly more bothered by smell than tracking but that’s just me. No smell!!

Thank you for your video, it saves us money and time. I am currently looking for a new litter instead of the Garfield litter that has a terrible odor once used. Tracks like crazy too. My cat doesn't like the hard pine litter and I've never thought to try this. One litter box has Garfield, the other is Fuller's Earth (my cat deposits the stinky stuff in this) but it is so dusty. I hate when companies change formulas or can't get the quality they used to. I'm checking out Chewy and the different variations of Okocat litter. Update: I found at PetSmart their Exquiscat pine cobble litter. Both my cat and I are happy with this, it is smaller than full size pine pellets, it does track but odor control is great. The price is reasonable and it lasts forever.

THANK UUUU .. I I look at your review on pretty Litter. And it was so good that I do not want to buy, And then I see you love palette with palette which I use and love. And when you try the oko cat and looking at your review you're very very honest with you I am going to purchase one. I use this other than palette just when we are away to travel so the cat sitter can easily Scoop them. Because I'm like You I scoop all the time twice a day. With that pine pallet you have to scoop it right away for the poop. But it is so amazing for the P. You can reuse it again. It's seriously that good for the p Smell. sorry im using my voice to type. lazy

I wish a company would try to make like... heavier chip wood littler, something between this soft version, and pellets... pellets being has hard as they are. Maybe like the tofu litter consistency.

YES, YES , YES.... THANK YOU- My boys can NOT be convinced to use the pellet litter box.. they just will NOT. I've tried mixing some in with the clay and they use that ok- but will NOT get in the box of just pellets.

After many trials we found the cat 2yrs old. She wouldn't poop in litterbox but used it for pee. Original was too hard soft was too soft coming from clay litter and tracked a lot. Conclusion box of each original on bottom and thin layer on top for paws it works great and she's back pooping inside litterbox yay

hi! have you ever tried Okocat's low tracking litter? i tried tofu litter and i absolutely love it but it's so expensive and it seems there are very few sellers? wondering if the Okocat low tracking litter is similar to the tofu litter.

@@SvenandRobbie Right I was thinking the same thing. I love pellet litter, but my cat was not much of a fan even though he would use it unless he was mad at me. :D So he now can have smaller pellets, and I can have the things i love about pellet litter like low tracking, no dust, no smell and easy to clean. I will tell you cleaning is not like the regular pellets no sifting of the saw dust. When it breaks down it just puff's up and I remove the pee puff and poo then stir. I now have one cat so 1 inch of litter is perfect!

I’m currently trying this litter in one of my cat’s litterboxes(about a 50-50 clay/wood mix), and I have PetSafe crystals in the other. Right now, she’s peeing in the crystals and pooping in the clay/wood.

i’m trying to find a good litter that my dog won’t eat (he keeps trying to eat the sustainably yours one) and tracking drives me crazy but obv cats like the softer litter to the pellets so it feels so selfish to want to use the pellets but oh how i miss the lack of tracking

@@SvenandRobbie oh wow! Thank you!! Can't wait! From my research, I read that mixing it with some other litter will help with tracking! I mixed them with okocat litter; it's been 2 days, so far the tracking is less than only using okocat litter (with a top entry box)

I like to vacuum once a year whether I NEED to or not!! (joke there-- I can do it daily if need by- I have a separate room carpted that they have to come trhough after the litter box before the rest of the house- so I think they'll lose most of it in there..

I’ve used this exact for my litter robot right now… its clumps stick to robot and don’t fall through (very sticky). Also it wastes more litter than it needs to while cycling (extra wood shavings make it to the bottom for no reason; I’m not sure why it does this bc it goes through the grates and comes back just fine). Overall I’d recommend another litter but odour control is best I’ve ever had.
