Thom is one of the few people in music that when people say he or she is a genius, I actually agree. Everything he does is amazing even the film scores he did were great and he doesn't even read music!. From his solo stuff to his other bands like Atoms For Peace and the Smile, it's all brilliant. He's getting up there in age now and soon he probably won't be able to sing like an angel anymore but I have a feeling he will stay musically relevant and still be able to move people emotionally. This song just makes me want to cry sometimes it's just so beautiful and i put Radiohead up there with bands like the Beatles they are that great.

It's like his voice is a vessel through which the heavenly song of the Universe pours through, particularly those non-verbal vocalizations. That's why Thom disappears behind this lids whenever he goes "here." Always closed, eyes rolled all the way back, channeling, entranced. Their rock songs are fantastic, but it's songs like these that hold up my theory.

most artists dont really "Love" or "feel" what they sing, simply because they don't create it, write it, imagine it, develop it, design it, manufacture and create it. Most popular artists today - and for years - have a music producer who enlists a writer, a load of composers and production staff who create a load of formulaic "meh" and then a singer to sing it.
