I inherited all tech responsibilities, because our host/bassist is moving FAR away for his retirement (he earned it!) For 7 days I've been helping out at our local skate club, because it was an opportunity to learn about professional stage tech, and because it's just an awesome cause. The event was simply amazing, for both young and old and everyone in between. On Tuesday I'm gonna work on the acoustics of our new (shared) band room. The Haunted ... literally ... made me do it. Ola,you may not have written the songs I love, but I want you to know how much I appreciate the band(s) you play with. I wouldn't be here without you

Awesome news about Dean Zelinski building the new Dime guitars! That’s really cool and it’s also exactly what Dime would have wanted I think. Hell I also think that’s what most guitarists that will buy them ( me included) would want. I own 3 Dean guitars already and I definitely would have liked to own one of the DBZ guitars I played a couple different ones in a local music store and they were both amazing guitars , they both had a super comfortable V shaped neck. Never played any other guitars with a neck exactly like them , I liked it and will have to hunt down one of those DBZ’s in the future. Very cool that Dean Zelinski himself is doing this and building the Dime / DGZ guitars ! Dime would love that ! 🙂

When Steve Vai was with Frank Zappa, he probably didn't get paid enough. No idea how Zappa promoted his music, but Vai should get credit just for being able to do what Frank wanted. That was probably one of his most difficult jobs. I saw Steve in concert when he was in David Lee Roth's band(after Van Halen split). He was great in that one too...
